Hey Lettee I absolutely agree with your opinion that you dont have to have had professional education about art to be an artist. I´m trying it without profi education....and i feel great, maybe it´s more difficult in this old structures of thinking, but better challenge. when you have a talent and you work hard, believe in yourself deep from your heart, you can be huge as you want. anyway we are all big in our hearts. thank you for comment ;) (Wink)

thats right! freedom is important. i cant even imagine what art students have to go through if they are lost for ideas for something and have a due date for their work, eugh! lol. aww thanks for loving my alien works, i love aliens! lol.

yep, but not in all drawings...
there's coloured pencil and pen art (I love pen!)here...
and sometimes I mix it with digital colours, gives a unusual good vision to the drawing ^^

you have to try someday...the last time that I use a coloured pencil to paint a pic was in 2007, 0_0
digital art has changed my life because it brings you more possibilities, effects...the point is you learn how to mix it ^^

someday I'll upload that drawing here, hehe

I use Photoshop CS2 (2005)... thats an old (but awesome :D (Big Grin) )version of the software.
in this year Adobe create the CS5 version.
and I use Photoscape for some simple effects.

Photoscape is free, but Photoshop is not...
In my case, I didn't have to buy because a school friend lent me the CD.
Photoshop is very popular, someone you know probably have to lend you the instalation ^^

hehe...Photoscape is just for simple after effects.
you must have Photoshop to paint your drawings...
Thera are other programs like it but, for me , photoshop is the best Wink/Razz

downloaded photoscape successfuly, im liking the simple effects i can do on photos on it at least...its better than the "paint.NET" program i had. ahhh i think i'll stick to painting instead of photoshop though :) (Smile) its easier for me haha
