Tony sat on the couch, his gaze fixed on the golden apple before him on the coffee table. It gleamed underneath the sun's rays coming in from the windows and as tantalizing as it looked...the billionaire couldn't help but feel a little nervous and for obvious reasons.
Immortality.
It literally lied right there before him and all he needed to do was take a single bite to achieve it. And he wanted to take the plunge because he wanted to still be with Loki...but the fact that this was actually happening was just a tad bit nerve wracking. His friends supported his decision with this and as happy as he was for that, he still couldn't help but feel this hesitancy.
Perhaps he should take a few breaths before taking a bite...yeah. That should help. Just breathe and let it out. Breathe and repeat. Breathe and repeat the process, just keep doing that. Yeah...this should help.

Loki soon walked back into the room holding a bucket of laundry and stopped to see him prepping to eat a piece of fruit. "darling.. are you alright." She was worried with how tense he looked.. She was surprised he agreed to such a important thing as immortality... To stay with her through thick and thin. "if it helps..it just prevents aging it..doesnt prevent wound death." she smiled weakly only to realize that was the dumbest thing that came from her mouth.

Tony chuckled. "I know, sweetheart. When it comes to immortality, humans just think of it as something that stops aging. That's the main thing. I figured there was a way I could still die, but not aging is a big plus. So many possibilities and promises...I'm just going to really miss my friends..." he explained whileΒ picking the apple up to stare more closely at it. The way it looked so metallic and yet was soft and smooth to the touch. It felt ripe like any other apple. It was astounding.
"...What am I going to expect when time just stops mattering to me?"

"....when you eat the apple time never stops... it... it doesnt stop your aging.. it slows it down.. you wont show age till.. 3000 years of age..." She sighed going over and sits next to him. "it just goes..very slow.. and while you friends you may miss them.. eventually you will see them again.." she smiled rubbing his kneecap.

"...Valhalla...that's what you guys called it in Asgard, right? Your type of Heaven. I never really believed in God or any form of religion as I got older. I'm the kind of guy who's focused on the future. That's why people call me a Futurist. I just want a better tomorrow. And I want to be part of it. I want to help as many people as I can and death hasn't always bothered me before, but as time flies by I can't help but worry now. I feel like I haven't accomplished what I needed after all this time. I made a super powerful suit of armor, sure. Helped create a team to protect the planet. I still feel like I can help out, though. And I want to....I need to do this. I want to make a difference for the people," he explained while bringing the apple closer.
"I'm not asking to be a god.Β I just want to be someone who helps to the best of his ability." With that said, he finally took the plunge and ate the apple.

She looked surprised for his reasoning and kissed his temple as he chewed the surprisingly sweet fruit. "well its so sweet you would use your time for good.. im proud of you my knight" she rubbed his chest gently starring at the bite in the apple. She could still remember the taste and its supple texture... She remembered where why and how.... and she defiantly remembered how she felt after.. it was like a zip.. a rush of life in her body... she hasnt felt that until she met the man of iron before her.

And Tony felt it like a sudden rush. Like a bolt of lightning or adrenaline went through his veins and...suddenly he wasn't feeling as tired as he usually did. Hell, he felt like he could do a backflip if he could. He felt like he could go an entire night with building a whole new suit and not feel tired at all after being up for possibly a week. Either way, things felt different and Tony...kind of liked it. It was still new, of course, but with time Tony was sure he would get used to it.
Looking down at the rest of the apple, Tony had a question. "So...do I eat the rest of it or do I throw it out? I have no idea how these magic apples work." He laughed a bit since he was embarrassed and it was funny to think about. Well, at least it helped remove the tension he felt from earlier.

((This sentence confused me since Tony is eating an apple and she says she hates the taste but prefers apples over strawberries...was that supposed to be the other way around? xD ))

Tony smiled before he turned his head to kiss her lips. "Guess I should order us some strawberries. Still, not sure if we should leave the rest of this apple out in the open. Someone could find it and take a bite and that would just make things awkward..."

"hmm.... well knowing the all mighty tony stark.." she kissed his earlobe. "i'm sure you'll find someway to hide it~." She wrapped her arms around her now immortal lover. "so seeing how that's off the agenda... whats next?"

"I'm not even sure. Never really thought about what to do after this. I have all the time in the world now, so I could start brainstorming ideas. And these apples don't get all rotten, do they? I feel like they don't but it doesn't hurt to ask."

"no they dont.. they can be be bitten and still taste the same... hmm.." she smirked wanting to tease. "lets get married " she nuzzled into his neck.

Tony nearly tripped over himself after he had gotten up off the couch and stared at her in surprise, his cheeks flushed a bright red. "Aren't I supposed to be the one to ask? Not only that, but I JUST gained immortality and you know I'm still coming to terms with that, so...I mean...we should put that in the backburner since so much has happened today and all that!"
It's not that he didn't want to get married, but he wanted at least to cope with not being able to age for a while. That and he wanted things to be romantic when he asked her. That's what he's always felt, at least.

She blinked tense and smiled weakly. "i was only kidding dear.. a mere jest... calm down.." She looked almost offended for a moment.

Tony noticed it instantly and shook his head before he went to grab her hands. "That's not what I meant. I'm READY for that, I really am. I just want it to be done right. The way I imagined it, I was going to take the girl I wanted to marry out and make her feel like this...incredibly amazing person that I see that she is, because I truly believe that she is! And I want to do that for you. But I don't want to do it now...when it happens...I want it to be special. When it happens, I want you to be swept off of your feet~ I want it to be memorable. Okay? I didn't mean to make it sound like I was against marriage. I was just taken by surprise."

She nodded. "just know when i say thing sometimes sudden understand i could be joking." she kissed his neck and went to store the apple in the lab somewhere safe humming a soft tune.

"I know all about your silver tongue, baby. I know about you being a tease and a pretty good liar, but your humor is one I'm still getting used to. Usually you aim it at Thor that I'm surprised you hit me with that whammy! I shall best you, though. This I swear~" Getting back up again, he headed towards the kitchen and got himself a bottle of fruit punch and opened it so he could take a sip. It wasn't as sweet as the apple, but it was still pretty good.

"Honey, you don't even need to utter a single word to get my pants off, believe me. All you have to do is look at me and I'm all yours," he says with such a serious face it's practically hilarious.

She raised her brow and smirked deciding to give him that certain look.. How quickly would it even work she wondered.

Tony noticed the look and chuckled. "Nah, no. Not yet, baby. Still got some things to do today...but maybe later on. Maybe tonight...I can set a mood~" he smirked while getting his StarkPad next to look through some emails. "I have a few business deals to go through and I have to schedule this meeting with another company. If I had a secretary again, I could just be in my lab doing whatever I please...but it was hard just finding a decent one who didn't want to get into my pants for money or fame!"

"why not hire a straight male secretary???" She wondered. "it could be interesting but..itd be hard finding one not interested in who i am as well." she sighed picking up oe of the recent magazines she posed in... "who knows how many men want a goddess in their sheets."

Tony sent her a playful look of warning. "You'd be surprised how many men would want a goddess in their bed and I refuse to let some little punk come by and eyeball my girl like he actually has a shot." Jealousy on Tony was kind of adorable. He would huff and puff and get all pouty. But Tony didn't really consider having a male secretary before. That or he rarely saw any of them come by to get hired.
"But I suppose I'll consider it. Hopefully I can find one guy here who's eligible enough to meet the requirements it takes to work as MY secretary. Pepper was practically a super woman when she worked for me. Took care of everything from meetings and schedules to coffee and dry cleaning. She always had things covered, even when I wanted to abruptly cancel something from out of nowhere. Or when I chose to ignore my duties and go to Vegas instead. I was so rambunctious~"

"youre still rambunctious now my darling" she rubbed his chin line. "and i assure you no man can change my sights of something like you." she kissed his cheek. "ill help you look."

Tony smiled gently before giving her cheek a kiss. "Thanks, honey. Now, I'm going to head down to the lab. You want anything before I disappear for who knows how long? I'll have FRIDAY inform me to show up for dinner, though. Don't worry. I won't miss that, at least."

TonyΒ nodded his head. "I know, dear. I'll be careful. FRIDAY will keep watch over me and warn me. I'm just hoping I'll actually consider listening...~" he said before heading down to the lab. When he got there, he decided he'd focus more on brainstorming ideas than building. He might as well since he was kind of immortal now and had all the time in the world to make said world into something safe and glorious.

Loki smiled and got to work on her clothing designs humming softly to herself... often it was quiet like this. However one thing was on her mind.. immortality.... Humans chased it for years and yet tony... He was..reluctant... fearful of the thought of immortality... He was such a strange man.. what made her all the more amazed... was he wanted it..for her... Never had anyone sacrificed for her... wanted to live for her... A small smile came to her lips. "anthony... you truly are a unique genius.."

He came back up several hours later with a little bit of sweat on his brow and a towel on the back of his neck. He might have started on burning some metal downstairs. He was molding it and hammering away before he needed to leave to get something to drink. His biceps were very defined thanks to all that heat and work. Going into the kitchen, he grabbed a water bottle and came back to find Loki working on her designs.
"How's it goin' over here, honey?"

she had a cracker in her mouth as she skteched away. "horridly.. what of your-" she looked only to turn red. "o-oh my"

Tony didn't notice her dilemma and instead leaned in closer to look at her sketches. Sweat rolled down from his face and to his neck. Probably wasn't helping that he was only wearing a tank top right now and it clung pretty closely. He still exercised when he could down at the gym and lifting heavy things in his lab seemed to help. He wasn't as buff looking as Steve was, but he was getting there. Abs were becoming a little more defined with each passing day.
"I see a lot of long and beautiful gowns in your dresses. What about skirts? It's still the warm season so I'm sure skirts and shorts are all in at the moment. Though, Fall is coming up..."

She just stared at each defined shape of of his form. Her hand trembled ever so slightly. She shook her head to contain herself. "m-maybe i should s-start designing s-sweaters... y-you know how i l-love sweaters.. " She cleared her throat and looked back to the paper.

Tony glanced over at her and stared closely at every detail. Flushed cheeks, hands shivering, legs twitchy and pupils dilated....Oh~ The man smirked as he leaned in closer to her ear. "Really? Because the way you're acting, I don't think designing anything is on your mind anymore. Should I ask what it is you're thinking about~?" His lips lightly brushed the shell of her ear before giving it a gentle bite.
He kissed it in pseudo apology and continued his teasing assault down to her neck. "Go ahead...I'm all ears, baby...~"

Her face turned redder as she shyed softly. "im thinking you should s-stop teasing me before i do something that will ruin my composure~." She looked to him. "you tease~."

"Please, you do this to me all the time and you don't see me complaining~ Though...it's not like I would really want to." He continued to kiss along her neck before he found a spot he liked and started to suck and nibble at it. Until there was a fine bruise in its wake, he finally pulled back to marvel over his work. "There...now I am content~"

She shook far more intensely. "when have i teased you this badly. name one time." she smirked slightly up to him wanting him to remember to see if he would shake.

"Oh, if I did we'd have to go someplace a little more private~" he purred. But all too soon, he pulled far away from her and sent her a smirk. "Anyways, I'm done for today. Gonna head into the shower. So...I'll be there. If you need something, you know where to find me. I don't mind having company in there~" And he was gone....
He had a plan for everything and making her crumble was oh so much fun.

She took a deep breath to calm down and began to draw again..but her brain began to wander to the shapes once more. She found herself becoming more and more flustered. "damn him... i must resist.. i..must...pretend... nothings wrong..." She continued to let her mind wonder as she bit her lip in thought giggling softly. "mmmmmheheh.."

Tony was in the shower cleaning up. He washed his hair, face, body, you name it. The warmth of the water helped relax some of his sore muscles and made him feel at ease, though he was still heated from his talk with Loki. He shook his head and finished up with his shower. If she didn't want to play along then that was fine. He could just go to sleep or spend some time alone in a separate room from her. Preferably a bathroom...
When he came out, he still found Loki on the couch and sighed. He was dripping just a bit all over the floor and all he had on him was a towel wrapped around his waist. He was not doing her any favors, was he? "You going to sit there all night, honey? I was going to head to bed and it's going to be...pretty lonely without you, ya know."

It was then the..figment on the couch disappeared and she was behind him she wrapped her arms around his waist. "oh im aware.. im lonely too.. so why dont you work on me now~ and ill work on you." she purred into his ear.

"Pfft, babe, I'm still wet!" he exclaimed as he turned to look at her. His eyes were bright, though he very much would like to dry off and get dressed. "I would love that. Come on, let's get to bed. It's time we both had some time to ourselves. Especially now since I pretty much have all the time in the world~!"

"you think i care if youre wet or not" she chuckled. "but ill agree with the bed endevour~" she purred and headed to their room.

Smiling with her, he guided her towards the bedroom that they shared and gently lied her on the bed, but remained standing. He was still dripping wet and he only hat a towel around his waist. But considering her gaze, that probably wouldn't be a problem soon. "...Should I even bother getting dried off or have you lost your patience?"

"hmm... go ahead and dry off.. however... i want to watch." she smirked devilishly and sat up slightly quirking her brow. How she loves to tease.

Hours later and probably needing another shower, Tony panted as he flopped onto the bed beside Loki. The two were very naked but very content now. Managing to get some strength back, Tony sat up to grab the blankets so he could pull them up to cover them both. He then wrapped an arm around the goddess and pulled her close to his chest. His heart beat pounding, though he took a few calming breaths in hopes of calming it. "I love you..." he murmured into her hair before giving it a kiss.

She panted sogtly into his flesh nuzzling into his neck. It felt like bliss being in his arms.. To think this was..forever... She was to forever be able to feel his strong arms hold her to him after post coitus bliss. A smile curled to her soft lips as she kissed his chest. "I love you too.." She looked around and somewhat giggled. "i made it snow again it seems.."
