I was just there for their closing sale, and I still only managed to get two books 'cuz I had $25 but the graphic novels were only 20% off . If my brother and I had pooled our cash, I would've been able to get six books... but he said he wanted to save his money for the Chicago comic convention 'cuz we've got to help pay for our own tickets this year and he still wanted spending money (nevermind the fact that he has over $700 in his savings account while I have less that $600 and I will definitely be dipping into my savings for this anyway... and he turned around and bought an $18 book right after feeding me this lame excuse ). Still, I imagine prices will keep dropping as the week goes on... but stuff is going fast, so I'd suggest you get in there quickly if you're planning on getting stuff. Weekdays are probably best 'cuz a lot of people are still on a regular work schedule. Oh, and we saw a box set of the first 26 episodes of Pokemon in the kids section while we were there... the good original ones! I wanted to get it for my little cousins Jamie and Lorna, 'cuz their would-be older brother Matthew grew up on that stuff back when he was alive, but the thing was $30 even with the 20% discount so we didn't get it . So many things, so little money .

Umm... well there's a list of anime that I've been wanting to see... maybe just a movie night via your Netflix thingy, or some DVDs . Not necessarily from Borders though, 'cuz they've still got some high prices when it comes to DVDs, and their selection will become increasingly sparse the longer this closing sale goes on . I don't want you spending too much on me, but my DVD wish list does include (but is not limited to):

- Last Exile
- Invader Zim
- Code Lyoko
- Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo
- Mushi-Shi (beginning with the second enstallment)

Any of those would be wonderful... or any manga or anime that you'd personally recommend would also work . I'd like to be one of those people that's easy to shop for .

I'm glad I could be helpful with this... I mean I know how it is trying to get stuff for people who won't tell you what they want (my dad is like that ). Besides, after what... five years now (?) Yeah, I figured as much... honestly it's one of the only manga with a super girly style that I can even stand . I don't usually have the patience for stuff like that, but the story is solid, so I can deal . I think the original Petshop of Horrors was better though... why can't they keep selling that in the bookstores ? I couldn't even find it at Borders before they were closing ! Though if you were interested in reading it, you could probably find it online somewhere .

According to my dad, there is a comic shop somewhere in town... but I think they only sell the mainstream American comic stuff (though I bet they could special order specific items... ). Maybe I can talk him into bringing us by there sometime !
