I saw your YA! post. I'd say ease off the over-processing, you are capable of taking good photos
Do you know much about photographic theory?

I'll be completely honest in that I really don't know much. Willing to learn, though. My YA! post was out of sheer curiosity of what peoples responses would be.

Fair enough, try look up the Rule of Thirds. I'd honestly love to expand on this but I'm late meeting up with a friend, so I'll catch you next reply

I actually do know about the Rule of Thirds, and even before I did, it was something I naturally did with my photos. Once I learned what it was, I was like oh hey, look at that! And I started to notice it with a lot of my photos.

Nice, let's see, what about depth of field? (I don't mean to offend, I'm just not sure just how much you know about the technical aspects)

Hmm, that'll be something I'll have to look up. And don't worry.. you're not offending me at all. I like learning new things. Looking at my photography now... what would you say I could improve on?

Well, a more natural editing style would be nicer to see, well, at least that's my taste as you might have been able to tell if you've peeked at my gallery
But yeah, try a more natural style, I'm not saying don't edit, just try not to get too excited by the possibilities.

No wait, nevermind, just saw your updated gallery (Stupid of me to think your first few photos would be representative of your style).

Just try keep an eye out for compositional elements, juxtaposition works well, patterns and the like. To be honest it depends what you're shooting. What is your interest?

Haha, yeah the first few photos were some older ones that I had lying around in a folder and uploaded here. The newer stuff is definitely more representative of what I like.

As far as my interest, I don't really think I have any specific interest that I stick to. I like nature and animals, but I've recently noticed that I seem to be drawn to patterns, geometry and linear elements in my photos. The first picture I posted on here is my favorite example of that. Hey, the universe does have a tendency to favor entropy and messiness. So patterns and geometry are a type of art form, no?
