I HOPE IT'S SUPER FLUFFY.
I'm alright, things are a tad stressful here but I'm doing alright. I have very little homework this weekend for a change so that's good, plus some of my art is going to be at an exhibition this weekend to the end of this month How are you?

Aw, what's been going on? Hopefully nothing too serious? Well, in any case, maybe creating something new would help?

I've started at NSCAD, the art university. I have an hour and a half commute and some days I have to get up at six in the morning, but at least I have Mondays off. I have been getting quite a lot of homework, though, but I've been doing pretty well so far. Let's see... I got a scholarship when I got accepted, I'm not sure if I've told you that... and some of my art is going to be going up at a gallery exhibition. Hoping to sell some stuff. I've been getting some profit from commissions, but I'm still a long ways off from making a living from it! STill sort of trying to get used to university life, I guess. Oh well. Haven't made any really tight friends yet but I am in a class with an old highschool accquaintance and we've sorta been getting to know each other better.

I got material for commissions from mama's bf to make him hats XD
That was my birthday present, keeping me busy so I wouldn't be bored.

That's fine. I've been doing fairly well with commissions also. I was in a Halloween art exhibition at an art gallery and one of my pieces was kept by the gallery, probably until it's sold (there've been a few art buyers interested in it). Then I'm going into a winter landscapes exhibition in late January as well, not to mention two library exhibitions for just my art... one in December, the other in March. What kind of hats do you make? Have you been selling many?

Yeah, the homework sort of fluctuates. The final projects have all started so I've been pretty busy with those...

Japanese final? OH YEAH! I remember you said you were going to learn Japanese? HOLY CRAP ARE YOU FLUENT YET?

I'm getting out of high school at the end of May. Yup. Off to art university! I got accepted to my dream university!
AAAAND I GOT A SCHOLARSHIP TO IT.
AND I GOT ANOTHER SCHOLARSHIP.
AND I APPLIED TO ANOTHER TWO SCHOLARSHIPS.

I've finished what I believe to be the last edit of my novel and I've sent it to another few publishing companies (have you read any of it, by the way?) and I've entered a few short story contests. I'm actually getting a short story published this summer in a short story anthology that takes the favourite stories of the writers of a magazine. Yay! I'm now volunteering at an animal shelter for cats and dogs and I've got a deal going on with a photography studio whereby I draw commissioned portraits of people who ask it. Haven't got any customers yet but I have been told that I should make $200 per picture. Still trying to get published my novel, obviously... And I recently went to Europe for 10 days. Was amazing--posted a picture of Budapest on my DA page, don't know if you saw it.

XD hardly fluent, still tryin' to memorize the Katakana and Kanji just from my first year book owo
I think our teacher said that after the final, we should be at a second grade level
aaaaand end of next semester it's supposed to be a 4th grade level or something like that haha.

Well, what kind of Japanese can you speak?
It'll be cool to finally be fluent, though, goin' to Japan and impressin' them locals
So, I guess that means you've been too busy to post anything on DA, then XD Have you been doing much in the way of drawing?
And what year of college are you in right now?

Thanks so much! I know it'll be great. And I can't wait to go. It's supposed to be one of the best art schools in Canada, if not the best.
