Not to be creepy, but you are really gorgeous.

...Okay that sounded creepy anyways. But I figured you should know anyways~ If you don't already.

LOOOL, thanks. Bit random, but thank you anyway.
But I saw your picture, if that is indeed you, and you are five times more gorgeous. (:

Mazzyness In reply to KatVonB [2010-08-26 01:36:55 +0000 UTC]

Nah, I just know the angles I look good with. You simply have good features, and oh man I wish I had your eyes. xD

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

KatVonB In reply to Mazzyness [2010-08-26 02:27:12 +0000 UTC]

I've done the same angles to make myself look decent. Myspace taught me well, LOL. But you should see me without my make up and without me posing. I'm a disaster.

Mazzyness In reply to KatVonB [2010-08-26 04:06:07 +0000 UTC]

Pretty much everyone's like that, except for the superhumans like Angelina Jolie. I think you just have good features, pretty eyes, straight nose, cute mouth. Either way you have a good face. xD

KatVonB In reply to Mazzyness [2010-08-26 05:17:23 +0000 UTC]

Well thank you (:
And despite your angles, I bet you dont need them to look pretty yourself.

Nope, I try to make up for it with my personality. For example, talking to you. Thought you looked really cool, talked to you.
Building up them people skills~

It helps me meet interesting people, and there's nothing I'd rather do~
I'm going to bed now (it's 3:30 where I am) but I hope I can talk to you later. Is that okay?

Mazzyness In reply to KatVonB [2010-08-27 00:25:05 +0000 UTC]

Mmm, sleep. Why is it during the day, when I need to be awake, I'm always tired, but I'm so awake at night when I should be sleepy? How inconvenient.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

KatVonB In reply to Mazzyness [2010-08-27 04:17:54 +0000 UTC]

Saaammmeee here. I have more energy during the night than during the day, and no matter how hard I try, I cant switch that around.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Mazzyness In reply to KatVonB [2010-08-27 05:33:17 +0000 UTC]

Right. I mean, I'm in the habit of going to sleep 3 or 4 am, and waking up at or after noon. I haven't been awake for the morning in months.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

KatVonB In reply to Mazzyness [2010-08-27 05:47:50 +0000 UTC]

Me either. I only wake up in the morning if I have to. But lately ive not been able to sleep until five or even six. So Im hoping if I force myself to wake up early (cause I always drift awake random early hours and falling asleep for some reason) that I'll eventually become tired earlier....hasn't been working XD

Mazzyness In reply to KatVonB [2010-08-27 18:33:41 +0000 UTC]

I would recommend Melatonin. Helped me through the worst of my insomnia days... It's the chemical in your brain that controls your internal clock, so there aren't any weird druggy feelings or side effects. Take it, and 30-45 minutes later you get really sleepy.

BAM. Works wonders.

KatVonB In reply to Mazzyness [2010-08-27 19:42:44 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, i dont like resorting to drugs for stuff like that. Even if i wanted to, my mom would never allow me to take sleeping pills.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Mazzyness In reply to KatVonB [2010-08-27 23:42:49 +0000 UTC]

Same with my parents. Actually, it's because they're scientists that I can't use drugs for sleeping and also that I can use melatonin (they know the effect on the brain).

Yup, raised by geeks to be a geek. I remember times when I would sit down with my dad and he'd show me the exact genes you would have to alter in a precise way to turn a horse into a pegasus. Good times~

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

KatVonB In reply to Mazzyness [2010-08-28 03:11:20 +0000 UTC]

LOOOOL. my parents werent geeks. Theyre immigrants from Portugal that learned English from tv shows and the streets, barely graduated high school.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Mazzyness In reply to KatVonB [2010-08-28 03:40:39 +0000 UTC]

Well I guess my mom isn't a geek... She's just frightening. And my dad is an asshole. I mean, he's a really charismatic, funny, intelligent asshole, and I love him but... He takes pride and joy out of degrading people's self confidence and making fun of people.

And that's where my mom comes in. My mom's really frightening. Really, really frightening. I've kind of gotten to realize that the reason my dad started loving my mom is because when he tried to take her down and find her weaknesses, she was the one that ended up winning: a complete first I hear. He said that the moment he noticed he loved her was when he took her on a date. Most dates of his don't finish their meals (and he finishes them for them, no food goes to waste) but with my mom, he had to protect his food. She kept stealing bites.

d'awww, that's cute :3
I had a relationship like that...not enough love that it would end in marriage though.

Mazzyness In reply to KatVonB [2010-08-28 04:56:49 +0000 UTC]

It'd be cuter if they weren't such a scary couple, with my dad who can do anything well and pinpoint your weaknesses and my mom who's so scary I know people who won't come over if she's there.

Had? What happened?

Oo. Ooooo. Ouch. Stalkerish, arrogant, lack of personality, extremely obsessive, and bases relationships off of not killing you? Or just the arrogant lack of personality part?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

KatVonB In reply to Mazzyness [2010-08-29 23:50:37 +0000 UTC]

Stalkerish, extremely obsessive, and over protective. It was odd, because he was the complete opposite in the beginning when we started dating.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Mazzyness In reply to KatVonB [2010-08-30 04:04:57 +0000 UTC]

Ugh, I hate that. I mean yes, I hate stalkerish, obsessive and over protective, but mainly I just hate it when you start dating a fabulous person and by the time the relationship ends... they're completely and totally different.

KatVonB In reply to Mazzyness [2010-08-30 04:09:20 +0000 UTC]

Mhm
I broke up with him because of it. I hate clingy guys. It's even sadder than clingy girls. A woman needs her space, sometimes.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Mazzyness In reply to KatVonB [2010-08-30 05:15:50 +0000 UTC]

Exactly! The best relationship I was in was with this one guy, and our relationship was so much fun and lasted so long purely because there was no jealousy or clingyness. Like one time we were at my friend's house, and my friend's crazy brother talked a couple girls into playing strip-pong. My boyfriend was asleep upstairs and I went to get him because there was no way he could miss out on all that boobs happening (being near the beginning of our relationship he thought it was a test). Or another time there was this extremely hot girl that took a liking to me, and I was just like, "Hey, hey Joe, can I make out with Sadie?"

Oh man, good times. He moved away for college, but that was a fun summer. And sorry if you're disgusted by me being a flaming bisexual.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

KatVonB In reply to Mazzyness [2010-09-01 18:28:54 +0000 UTC]

looool, why would I be disgusted?
I'm bisexual too, and even if I wasn't, I still wouldn't be disgusted.

Mazzyness In reply to KatVonB [2010-09-01 23:15:59 +0000 UTC]

Well good. And even very open minded people will get extremely uncomfortable when I tell them that story. You'd be surprised how often that disclaimer is necessary.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

KatVonB In reply to Mazzyness [2010-09-01 23:35:42 +0000 UTC]

Really?
Silly, really, lol. It's just kissing, and it's not like you went into detail about it, lol.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Mazzyness In reply to KatVonB [2010-09-01 23:46:06 +0000 UTC]

Exactly! It's like some of these people come from different worlds. When I was in 3rd grade, I wanted to introduce my best friend to my mom's good friend (they would have gotten along fantastically) but when I mentioned her friend was lesbian, my friend refused to meet her.

To be fair, my friend was raised as a strict christian and five years later, she came out of the closet as both a bisexual and an atheist. Now her dad hates me, but you know.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

KatVonB In reply to Mazzyness [2010-09-02 01:20:10 +0000 UTC]

Yes, there's a lot of people like that. I know several Christian people that claim when I first met them that they don't like homosexuals and all that, and a few years later they come out of the closet. Most of the time the reason why they originally think that way was because they're brainwashed by their parents, or siblings, grandparents, teachers, etc, until they finally grow some balls and face the fact that they aren't straight.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Mazzyness In reply to KatVonB [2010-09-03 03:50:15 +0000 UTC]

Yup, that's pretty much exactly what happened. Now she's kind of a hipster and it's a little weird, but I love that kid. And hate her crazy father. Her mother is pretty cool, luckily enough, and whenever I meet her father I think to myself, "no wonder she divorced this crazy pastor." He's actually a pastor, by the way.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

KatVonB In reply to Mazzyness [2010-09-03 04:14:37 +0000 UTC]

Ah, a pastor, that explains it.
Pastors aren't servants of God
They're servants of the conservative Government.
They keep their towns nice and frightened so they could continue to vote for them.

Mazzyness In reply to KatVonB [2010-09-03 18:19:09 +0000 UTC]

I would be completely okay with all religions if they didn't put unnecessary restrictions on everything, and that's not only christianity. Judaism, for example. Keeping kosher is ridiculous. It served it's purpose when it was created, it kept people alive and away from the spreading disease, but keeping kosher in modern times is totally pointless. I mean, kosher is only getting more and more strict and less and less necessary.

The problem with religion is it has no room to change or evolve.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

KatVonB In reply to Mazzyness [2010-09-03 20:11:26 +0000 UTC]

I don't mind kosher. And when we studied Judaism they gave another reason why they did it. They felt it was morally wrong and disrespectful to have food from a live animal (milk, etc) next to food from a dead animal (meat). And it isn't a practice that disrupts my life, as it's more like a diet choice, so I could care less if most Jews prefer to eat Kosher.

And it's not that religion has no room to change, it's just people like tradition too much to let it change. Even though, we let Religion change so many times over the span of 1000 years. In the beginning, it was just Roman Catholic. But then branches spread to different religions as they portray the bible differently, and made their own religious names.

It's just sad that they aren't making the changes in the right direction.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Mazzyness In reply to KatVonB [2010-09-03 20:23:27 +0000 UTC]

The thing with kosher is that it's getting stricter. Then it was more of you cannot eat these foods, but now it's you can only eat THESE foods. If there isn't the kosher symbol on the package, you can't eat it even if you could stop and think for a second and notice that the food contains nothing that is forbidden. That made no sense, but I don't know how else to phrase it.

That's true, at least in terms of christianity, but there isn't much room for change. If you start making a separate branch of christianity, if you change something large enough you won't be allowed to consider it a branch of christianity. There are basics that go hand in hand with serious christians that cannot be changed.
