Hey there!

I do not remember that I gave you the permission to use one of my wallpapers for your own works. You are presenting others works without the names of the artists. This is not correct and even not fair. And btw: it's not allowed. I (and many others) didn't release their works under creative commons, but under copyright protection! You can not come over and present them in your own show. Even if you _would_ put the artist's names it needs a permission.

Stop it, you are breaking copyright laws!

I have written a letter to deviantART help desk asking them to watch my show to see if I am breaking copyright laws. If they tell me to stop I will. I will also ask others before I use their wallpaper because not everyone wants people to see their stuff or say they think it's cool. Thanks for reminding me of that!

Hi,

This is a review show to present work to others. This is Fair Use under section 107 of the United States Copyright Act of 1976 in which allowance is mage for purposes of criticism or comment. I am not representing that these are mine. You are also the first person to complain about their work being shown to a wider audience.

Also there is a direct link back to the artist's work through DeviantArt. I have not uploaded the work to a wallpaper gallery online. If someone wants to find out more about the artist they are free to click on the link and email the artist.

I give the username that each person has on their deviantArt profile. Again it is easy for anyone to find out the artist's name if they want too.

I will remove you from the show when I get a chance. The last thing I want to do is complement someone that does not want it. I will message you when you are removed from the show and my favorites.

Well, thanks for your reaction.
Although I'm not that opinion. You present the work without any names and titles (Not in the Video and even not in the description). Until now, there is no info, that the pictures shown in your video are not yours. This is usage of Artwork creating an other original work (Video). It's not up to the audiance to find out the artist's names with searching and surfing link back to your DA-page and comparing the pictures. To fulfill the conditions of the quoted section you need to tell clearly, that this are not your pics. Reviewing in a fair way means also to tell title and name of the artist.

The names of the artists (DA user names anyway), and the titles of the work are given verbally in every video. Sometimes multiple times. No, they aren't on screen in the vid or listed in the description but they are given verbally.

It is very clear in the video that these are not my pics. You wrote:

I say over and over and over "This is by..." and give the name of the artist and the title of the work. Were you watching the vid with the sound off? Several of the artists featured have questioned what the problem is because they heard me credit them.

But again, I want to thank you for reminding me how some people are. I'll just do individual artists features from now on of one artist and ask first. Less people will get there work out to a wider audience but I can list their name at the start of the show.

Well in that case I guess it did look like I was just making a slide show using other peoples work!!! All this drama for nothing.

I was putting the name of the work & of the artist (look at shows 1 & 2). But it was covering up some of the artwork and it was time consuming. So I just started putting AG for AppGoddess on there.

I am gonna make a title card at the front of shows from now on, saying that these are not mine and that this is a review show. That was a good idea.

I DID really like your wallpaper. Which I guess you know now since you turned up the volume. Do you still want it in the show? I still have that file and I can just upload it.
