# About me

I had been drawing,and painting my whole life when I suddenly ,bizarrely ( and misguidedly as it turns out) fell in love w/photography and decided to pursue that. Ended up going to esteemed "art school" studied that for years and found my passion seriously waning by the 3rd year.I had been drawing during the photo years but just on my own, in a small sketchbook ,took no classes etc.Once I started working in the "real world", I lost my drawing mojo ( it truly vanished)...and after years of idleness i.e. no drawing, it miraculously returned a couple of years ago. And so I've arrived here ! I work exclusively with the beloved and unforgiving Black Bic Biro Ball Point Pen: an instrument of torture that I truly love and believe in.
As a kid I was obsessed w/a book my Mom had : "The Beatles Illustrated Lyrics" by Alan Aldridge which is full of bizarre, whimsical art ,both good and bad,and I am convinced it's worked it's way into my subconscious and has been a huge influence on how I draw now.Also adore and worship Francis Bacon's work, but that's another story.

Right now I am thinking about one of the guys in "ghosts III", the third one, as I like the look in his eye Or ,from "micro lounge IV",last one in first row,next to last one in 4th row,next to last in 5th row, those are the ones that are speaking to me .
