I have a really arty comment for you
The swirls and stuff connecting the objects in your work make me think that they represent the 'feeling' of the things they are surrounding. Like you are drawing that part of the place or thing which you do not 'see'...but its there, maybe sometimes its even more important than the place or thing itself. ...sorry I feel like your art teacher now XD

No, I getcha! That's why my older work usually has a different look and feel to each one, like this one that I drew when I was 15 or 16.. [link]
I could probably never create something that looked just like that because that was another chapter in my life, etc.
I also HAVE TO finish a drawing in one sitting, because if I leave it and come back to it I either can't get into it anymore or the stuff I'm drawing doesn't match. I'm getting better with that, though, now I try finish everything I start. I used to be really bad with throwing my drawings away because I just wasn't into some of them. Even when I was a little girl I would destroy drawings that I thought were crappy.. My mom used to rage at me for that!!!
But speaking now, I'm finding more of a "niche" with my art. I guess you could say I have a definite recogniseable style as opposed to just "trippy stuff". If you look back in my gallery most of my submissions are almost half-assed compared to now, and most are lazy doodles (I will admit I had cool ideas that came from that).. Now what I really need to work on is getting those cool ideas as a kid and applying the precision that I have developed now!
I took a really, really long break from drawing, almost 4 years.. I just wasn't feeling any sort of artistic spark. I tried getting into it again about a year and a half ago and I made some cool stuff, but the spark died and I just forgot about it again. Only in the past month or two I just had this huge URGE to draw, it was like I needed a drug fix or something.. So, here I am
