thanks! i don't really download brushes or anything, but i might mess around with the settings from time to time depending on whether or not i think it'll help. in sai, i use the brush tool a lot and it's usually the blending/dilution/persistence i mess with. you can get the same results with a lot of different settings, depending on how the brush is used, and a lot of the time the settings will just have to do with how comfortable it makes me feel for a particular piece.
