Description
This character is my OC.
A little bit more on her story:
Rebecca was a young and very responsible security guard working at OCP. One day she got mortally injured after stopping a terrorist who tried to smuggle a bomb into the building with her body. The bomb was self-made and did not have any metal parts, so it went undetected by metal detectors, and the security guard on CCTV turned away from the screens to to get some coffee just when the man took out the bomb.
It was decided after the incident that criminals had become too ingenuitive to rely solely on CCTV and detectors. OCP needed a human security guard with lots of experience that machines could not compensate for, who would stand guard 24/7, with no coffee breaks and never taking their eyes off the screen. Basically, they would need pretty much only the brain of a person and an extensive life support system in order for them to continously monitor the security, but at the same time the design also needed to be lighter, sleeker and more... visually enjoyable for the guests than the previous versions.
On her death bed, the criticaly injured Rebecca felt broken and crippled, afraid that she would never be of use to anyone else ever again. When the group of medics came to discuss the matter with her, she immediately volunteered to be reconstructed into this full-body cyborg. Now almost fully machine, with not more than just her heavily computerized brain, heart, lungs and parts of her face left, she continues her vigilant services as a security guard to this day.
Here is some Rebecca on duty. (which is 95% of her time, when she is not recharging and undergoing scheduled check-ups and maintenance)

few of them are made in other 3D games...but whether I can create her or lookalikes, depends on whether I have available mods.

Probably since something like that could cripple her if someone whoβs had extensive enhancements, including strength, attacks.

That is actually the kind of story I had in mind for her hardships as a cyborg ^^"

Maybe one day they can digitize her consciousness and she can be truly organic-free.
I imagine she might actually go for that.

Hmm, I wouldn't say going digital is her goal by any means... She didn't have much of a choice of how much she would like to keep really. And she still looks after herself from time to time to be clean and beautiful, like using lipstick, so I guess she kind of treasures what was kept of her, may be? I guess she is fine with most of it though as long as she can do her job.
However, that being said, retaining her organic components integrated and working certainly is a lot more clunky and requires extra medical care.

I never said it WAS her goal.Β But the organics won't keep indefinitely.
Im just saying if it came to it, she might consider it out of the same sense of duty

The problem of vigilance IS the human brain. Being a cyborg won't help if she gets bored and starts playing virtual solitaire.

:'D
Her brain has a lot of cybernetics to help circumvent that problem, but even as a human she was already known to be generally more alert and always on guard even in boring situations, since why they chose her for the process.

She seems to be on board with it. She's doesn't seem angsty about her situation at all. She has a sense of duty. Perhaps she also feels she is helping pave the way for other people who get horribly mangled to have a new lease on life. And if she can help others, then maybe it isnt so bad.

She was not intended as a combat cyborg, her job is mostly just scanning and surveilance. I guess her mechanical parts were deemed strong enough as they are to kick out or subdue trouble makers
