Starkiller is one of the most OP characters in SW so I'd say he curbstomps this one!

Thank you very much. It was a lot of fun to draw. I usually don't try to match a drawing to an actor, but Witwer is so much a part of that character there wasn't a lot of options. Good times.

Oh yes. But did you know Sam Witwer played a walker in season one of the Walking Dead? I recently watched the scene on YouTube and I think 'Damn. Rick shoulda took walker Starkiller's lightsaber.'

What did you end up thinking initially of the movie? I was rather impressed by it.

You mean Force Awakens? I liked it a lot. I won't deny that the people who say it has problems do have a point. It has the same challenges that often accompany a J.J. Abrams film. But all in all I can give it a definite positive review. And best of all, for the first time since 2003, I want to see more Star Wars again. I'm not "mad" at Star Wars anymore. Now Episode 8 could come along and fail to live up to the potential that they set up in 7 and that would be tragic, but for now I'm eager to know more about Snoke, about Kylo, about Rey, and to see how Finn and Po will grow into their characters. All in all, I give it a solid B.

Agreed! My husband is a huge Star Wars and Star Trek fan, so he used this
movie to start introducing me more into the lore. I loved the original movies, and I'll
be honest, I really didn't like the prequels either, so not only did The Force Awakens entertain me
but it opened up more opportunities for me to be introduced to the EU.
I'm in the same boat with you, I hope Episode 8 lives up to the potential, but I am also excited for Rogue One.

Rogue One does look good, and it too has potential to be really good. But it's not as "under the gun" as Episode 8. This stand alone story is more like a Marvel movie, one piece of the bigger whole and if it flopped like a MagiCarp, who'd care in a year? That being said though, given the time frame in which it's set it could end up being as good as the originals with the right story and action. I do hope for the best on this one.

You know, I'm generally more positive to Kylo Ren than many seem to be, but yeah I totally agree. Starkiller would win, take his ship and poop in the cockpit then crush the whole "Starkiller base" for ripping off his name.Β

KYLO Ren is not fully trained he would get crushed, but that's what I like about him, he is not flawless. Him and Poe are my two favorite characters in the new movie

Has there been anything released yet that tells a bit more about Ren? I'm on media blackout for Star Wars until the new films comes out so I wouldn't know if he's shown up in the comics or books or whatever.
