Description Saurians.

They come in an array of modified forms nearly as diverse as humanity itself, though their population is significantly smaller. They are derived from the genes of the only successfully resurrected pterosaur in recorded history, and although the particular species and taxonomy of this original is unknown, most saurians draw their linage back to the esteemed Quetzalcoatlus, and some renegades living in the dazrak'i system have even gone so far as to claim davinty on this basis, and have asserted themselves as teh rulers of teh system's inhabitants.

those that dwell on the earth are generally peaceable, and fit in plenty well among the diverse inhabitants of the planet. attempts to resurect other prehistoric animals for genetic tinkering were carried out in the late thirty second century, but none resulted in the full bodied reincarnation of a species, instead only providing genartists with new biological samples to mesh within themselves. for this reason, every saurian variant living on the earth is quite special indeed.

this particular individual is descended from a variant engineered with forelimbs adapted for walking rather than flying, and her family has long mingled with the streetwalkers of the city in favor of the largely toxic airflows above that many of their kin seem to prefer. Her long, highly dexterous tail was spliced into the linage a few generations back, by an aggravated great grandfather of hers who was upset by the lack of fine manipulation his beak afforded him, and wished not for his descendants to be plagued by the same limitations. the woman pictured here,, who goes by the name of Pthu, tells me that she is quite grateful for the foresight of her great grandfather, for without her dexterous tail, she would be unable to paint the Atmosmurals that are both her passion and her livelihood.

Interesting concept. Though how would people obtain genes of prehistoric lifeforms? (as genetic material doesn't fossilise).

Hello Jordono! Fantastic sketch as always. I particularly enjoy her prehistoric-sort-of-freshwater-dolphin head shape. The skull is very cute too! Looking forward to seeing you soon!! Β

haha, god, I am glad you are enjoying yourself, I look forward to seeing more ugly dogs and shark guys!f!

my summer has been very busy, I have been working on commission work and doing some volunteer work for Big Nazo, and I have also been trying (and failing) to generate some really good portfolio worthy paintings... the summer is about to get even more stressful, as I am about to start a long animation commission that will be taking up pretty much all of my time until school starts, so... that's that...Β  it should be fun though, and hopefully I'll have time to squeeze in some personal work, and still interact with friends a bit!
