!!!FULL VIEW PLEASE!!!I apologize for the line in the picture, it's not easy to scan A3 when you have an A4 scanner.
This is a comission I started on some weeks ago. It's drawn on an A3 paper, then linearted with ink. I then made a copy of it and then started colouring it with COPIC sketch markers.
For the background I used coloured pencils wich I then "smudged" using copic pens. (A.k.a raping copics).
I have no idea if she will enjoy this piece, but hopefully my customer will approve! This is the first time that I have actually tried to colour aliens...even though I've been drawing them since I was like 10.
I have no clue about why this is...a cat vs aliens. But I thought the idea was fun!
Yeh took about 10-15 hours all and all!

This is such a perfect concept because while you have the dark aliens all standing around the cornered cat he/she doesn't seem to worried though we all know whats about to happen.

Summer blockbuster for 2012?
Love it... The way the aliens are towering over the cat, the use of the blue and orange/yellow lights to reinforce the size. The aliens look spot on too. Pretty cool stuff.

I think that alien is gorgeous. Beautifully drawn..but I dont know how I feel about the cat.
It feels like an after though It reads perfectly, however i would recommend making more of a contrast between alien and the kitty. make the kitty look "softer" or "fluffier."

what those aliens dont know, is that inside that yarn is actually a coiled ball of rope-form adamantium (the stuff lining Wolverines bones)
That cat us going to use super ninja cat like skills and tie them up in that covered razor wire as soon as one of dem aliens step outa line!

And then the cat scratched an alien which spread cat scratch to all the others and they fell over dead. Cat lives happily ever after and aliens went extinct.

It's a well known fact we xenomorphs dont hurt cats. It's against our thoughts.
