I love the contrasts...colors and instruments (guitar and sword). This is the epitome of why Rothfuss is so good...hands that can bring beautiful music and beautiful death in turn.

I don't know anything about Photoshop, sorry :C So I'll try just to say what I saw xD

I just love the words in the wind and the clouds. I think the pose is a bit unnatural, but the cape of shadows looks amazing, and maybe you could improve the (I don't know what it is) I guess the wall he is standing on, because it makes a rare curve (or at least I find it a bit weird)

But in first view, to me it's EPIC

thanks for your comment now I see too the perspective of the wall is really weird... I will try to look after it next time, and also the anatomy. Somehow I always make some mistakes with them

You're welcome! And don't worry, I realized that after looking through it, because at first view, it was stunning and hence those details, it is awesome and I love it!!!

Love both books - they're awesome I don't have any big crits, sorry, that's why I am putting it in the comment field instead. I like the feel of what you did, I like the movement and the energy of the image. Only crits I have is that his pose looks a bit off, and that the detailing on the mountains looks like it could need a little more directional definition, but the latter could be a matter of taste. I really like how you did the words on the wind, it makes you look twice.

I have to agree with you, the mountains look weird This was the first time I used textures, and I need still a lot of practice with it, but I'm working on it
Thank you very much for your feedback
