when I first got to ash lake, after killing the hydra, I looked up the tree I had exited. I found no matter how high I looked I could not see the top, despite It going higher than the distance I descended. Ash Lake is just a world all its own. Who wants to bet each intact arch tree leads to a different world?

Pretty awesome, especially when you realize that it's the place in the intro cutscene where the Lords fought the dragons.
