The variety of styles and emotions you can pull off is exceptional, I always find it exciting when you submit a new piece of artwork because they are all so different and all so fantastic. Although I was too late to comment on 'Ansatsusha' I really loved the style on that one, as I do this one as well.
I love the shading style itself on this, I think it suits the ghostly feel while also being dynamic and interesting. The drop shadow helps it stand out from the background while also making the Haunter look darker at the same time, I don't think the image would have as great an impact without it. You have made some great decisions to make this exceptional~ ;W;
Although the background is simple it does suit the overall feel of the image, although a more complicated background would have possibly been even better I think for a background will little on it at first glances, it is really good in communicating the 'haunting' feel. Really excellent work <3~
