I'm finally done with the Top Cow project. It's called "Urban Myths" and it will be part of an anual issue Top Cow realeases called "Pilot Season" Which are like 6 pilot comic stories put together. All by different writers and artist. The idea..is that out of those 6 titles..only 2 get to have their own series. And the fans get to choose which 2 titles win by voting. So basically...if you like what you see here...VOTE FOR ME!!..allthough I have to admit there is some serios competition.If you like to know more about this check the website

Sounds like a page turner for jaded comic book reviewers. Whatever. GAY.

Depending on how it's handled it might be okay. I have some doubts to how cool it will be or just another Bitchblade tee-hee TnA factor. I never saw Pendragon as a strong title on its own.
"ALIBI
The story of a hitman who always has the perfect, air-tight alibi whenever heβs accused of a high-profile assassinationβhow can he be in two places at the same time?"
Sounds decent as a mini series, not a regular book. Once the cats out of the bag and you explore it a little what else is there to do? He's no Batman you know?
"GENIUS
comes a story about an exceptionally clever 17-year-old who unites the gangs in her neighborhood to wage war against the Los Angeles Police Department."
Probably the stupidest shit I've ever heard of. And the name of the comic book is fucking weak as hell. Where is this going to go? So you unite two groups of cunts to fight a lesser group of cunts. Something tells me this will be written nowhere as well as the TV Show The Shield. Whatever...
"THE CORE
a unique sci-fi tale about the first human appointed to an interplanetary Special Forces unit, and the trials he must endure to earn the respect of his extraterrestrial teammates."
This could go either way. I really don't think it will be stellar though and have enough appeal for anyone to care long term.
URBAN MYTHS
about a world where the Greek gods still meddle in the lives of men, and the best private investigator out there happens to be the mask-wearing son of Medusa.

After looking at art/covers for them all I would say yours takes the cake. Commercially speaking yours and Pendragon are the best for art/production.
I have to admit I would have put Pendragon over yours unless I had seen your pages. Your pages are fantastic and show how much fun and diversity your would can have. It's a strange concept but you have fully realized it. Out of all the books here I also believe yours has the most open ended potential for carrying on issue after issue whereas the concepts for Twighlight, Alibi and Genius seem to be very limited in their scope.
So here's hoping that you win and the comic industry gets something on its shelf worth a fuck. My only criticism on the concept of your book so far is that the main character isn't visually iconic in true comic book fashion. He is a cool character no doubt but not so stand out that I'd want a toy of him you know?
So anyway, great work, I've enjoyed your work for quite some time on Deviant Fart, especially the pirates you drew and I hope you get a book deal with Top Cow because you certainly are deserving.
