Every once in a while, I come back to this. It's one of the best things I've ever read concerning League, and it pulled me back into love with the lore. It resonates with me, with the concept I always cling to of immortals watching us from the outside, endlessly fascinated by us. Thank you for doing this. Thank you for making the scene that much more iconic and immortal.

I know right, I take soraka to mastery 6 just for this, and I hate soraka, I was like "if I don't go soraka, kindred wins" lost couple of rankeds but it was wortthed, I fill my history with sorakas

You know the thought of Kindred following around Soraka is actually pretty terrifying. The essence of death following her as she goes to help others, waiting for her to slip up or fail; a reminder that she couldn't save someone and now they're dead. That would really mess someone up.

I knew I've always loved Soraka. And yet there're people call her "healing machine", they've forget what's true meaning of playing a game.

I wouldn't fault them (; games that make you scream for ambulance-raka are kinda great.. it's funny and not necessarily in-character, sure, but the medium itself breaks the context of how these champions are presented/played, so it's fair, and I understand.
Illustrations and comics on the other hand have their own isolated atmosphere, and it's so much easier to present a specific idea/scenario. It's the fanartists who don't always get the true meaning of playing a game xD

Not really fair for me, since I care about the character. But, yeah, maybe it's just me.
First time I played as Soraka I was very surprised that her health got low so quickly and I thought it was because of weak defense, but minutes later when I saw that she lost a part whenever she healed someone, I was kinda hurt a bit. She's not someone like Leona who charges into the front line and willingly to stay back in order to save her teammates. But still, when I play as Soraka even knowing that she's very easily to get killed, she still stays quite near the front line, just out of the danger zone, so she can support her teammates in time. Saved lots of people, actually.
