No stupid colors here - they're very nostalgic. The brown works perfectly as a texture for his cloak and hood. Interesting pose you've chosen for him, and I simply -adore- those eyes. <3 They look kind and dreamy. I also like the soft blue tone in the background. Very nice work! ^^

Hi, Zsoszy! I like the loose overall's texture, shadows and color palette much. "Swamp" brown + golden yellow are very attractive here. Is that pastel?

Well, the texture is the paper's texture. I used just colored pencils to color it. Actually, I have a kind of "gold" color, which I used for the yellow parts. Because the yellow was too... yellow.

I think the colors are a bit better on the real picture, the scanner changes a little them, and I don't know well the Gimp to correct it.
