I had an URGE to draw him. Seriouisly, he's been following me for about 3 weeks! D:I drew a lot of fanarts of him, but all of them are traditional, and you know my scanner is dead.

I'm not really against this name, even if "Lilipup" sounds extremally cuddly and... weak, but a lot of BW names sound weird. In my opinion Oshawott sounds weird, first time I've heard it I thought it was something like "oh shi-- wut?". Also, Tepig sounds ok, but weirdly short for a starter. Bulbapedia writes this name may com from "tepid" (The word I did not even know) and "pig". The only part of name syndicating WHAT is this Pokemon is "pig", which made the part "te" at the beginning odd for me. Maybe because I was unfamiliar with word.
Plus, it sounds similar to "carpet" in German. At least for me
I must say I really like the name of "Snivy", however, the fanmade Smugleaf is even more fitting XD"
And names of Zebstrika & Genesect remind me of wrong things I should not be reminded by a Pokemon game.

The first time I heard tepig I thought it souned sounded like some French guy say "te pig", I think they should have cept Pokabu. I was never a fan of Oshawot;s name, it sounde to long for a starter, it's more of a stage 1. I like Snivy better than Smugleaf but, maybe it's just becouse I got used to Snivy. 
It's like Ditto being abile to mate with any pokemon, it just sounds wrong

Pokabu sounds somehow like it was related to Pikachu, in my opinion this could be confusing. And, of course, it would be wierd if they did not translate starter names when they mean something. They like to make the names more appealing for those who don't know japanese and they try hardest they can. Some names that cannot be translated are left intact.
I olso like Snivy better, but I say Smugleaf was funny because it fits. Just look at him, , he just waits to look down on you and look smuggy hahaha XD"

I always thought Pokabu sounded alot like Pokemon. I don't mind Tepig I just think they could have done a little better. At least it's better than the fan-made name Floink.
LoL it does fit, and does sound like some thing to do with weed.
It wouldn't seam wrong to little children, but to all the Real Pokemon fans it's just stupid.

I did not know about Floink, but it sounds like a weird onomatopeia to me. I've heard about Wotter, which I found clever, but short. It could be also confusing, because it sounds too much like "water" (well, Dewgong also sounds too much like "dugong" as well...)
Snivy might have the prettiest evolution of those 3... To me they look like some Asian mythical creatures, Samurott is Samurai-ish (but his design is strange, I would still let it stand on 2 legs), The last evo of Pokabu looks Japanese-y, like some kind of Oni, although Oni does not look like this... This pig looks like a warrior. The wirly pattern it has on its skin looks totally Japanese... It also reminds me of Wind Waker or Okami C:
The evo of Snivy however look like some elegant serpents, with it's collar popped up... It makes me think about some really rich Chinese emperor, I don't really know why.
But come on, aren't the silliest things in Pokemon the funniest? Like, some kiddo walks to you and says he likes shorts, and then the battle begins. Does it make any sense? XD"
Besides, stupi or not, the best thing for a game is to be fun and playable C:

To me Floink sounds like some kind of pork food lol. Wotter wasn't bad, but it wasn't that original... Yes, Snivy's evos are very elagent wich I like. I really like Serpirior it looks like some Japanese snake god lol. But, I don't know why he has arms, they're so nubby XD.
Embor always looked like some pig warrior with a flaming beard.

I just hope there's not more Pokemon like Trubbish to come. If Pokemon is just going to keep makeing stupid pokemon they should just quit and use what thy have. Evan though there's some stupid pokemon in the later gens, there is still some preatty cool pokemon ,like Snivy and Zoroark.
Digimon took fan made Digimon, Like Dobermon, and put them in the games and shows.

But some may think Zoroark is fine, some may think its design useless. Now, since we have so many pokemon, it's hard to decide which pokemon are fun and which are failish, since there are also fans of new Pokemon. I am the fan of old pokemon, which had much more charm in my opinion.

I have HeartGold so I guess I know a little bit about the firts gen (but not as much as I'd like to). I keep hear ing thatthe first gens are the best. And like I said I juststarted liking them since December^_^. Brfor then I didn't even know that Treeko, Torckic, and Mudkip where starters for Hoenn (and even that Hoenn exsisted LoL)

I'm still not educated in newer regions, but certainly heard something about them.
You may keep hearing this, because most of adult pokefans refuse to take off their nostalgia googles. Younger gamers prefer newer ones, because old ones seem odd to them, they lack in "abilities", "berries" (gen 1), and other additions. Red was much harder than Platinum to me! More challenging!
I guess 2 gen is even better, because it combines two worlds, but I have to play it whole, then rate.
You have to try them yourself to find out which one you like better.

I think Heartgold and SoulSilver are the best Pokemmon games. There's two regions and you have to get 16 bages insted of 8. I even had over 100 hours by the time I finesed the game.
I didn't really like Black and white as a game, it was to short and easy.
I haven't played any of the gameboy games so I can't rate them...

If you played HG/SS first, you'd probably like this version more than original. But I liked the times when Team Rocket was actually evil.

HG/SS is an remake, originally we'd say 1995-2000's Team Rocket is evil, and of course so is HG/SS, because it's just a newer version. Later they kept flooding us with teams not even nearly as scary as Team Rocket. Killing Marowaks for skulls? Ripping off Slowpoke tails? Only Team Rocket.

Despite this, I actually like Plasma. They are a bit evil, because they are tricking people they are good. In the end Ghetsis says all this "liberation" thing does not matter.
Plasma is something fresh and different. And they have a sexy king.
But Rockets are better
