Don't Do it
"Then don't hang with me anymore. It's so simple"
"No I'm not gonna do that. I wanna stay friends with you." I argue with my best friend Dusk over the phone, as tears begin to form in my eyes from earlier events.
"With this I won't be around for long dear. I'm still human. I can't take this much. Just don't hang with me and it will end. If I even show up. Okay? I'm sorry dear. Goodbye" I quickly sit up in my bed as I realize what she is telling me.
"No! Dusk Don't!!" I desperately pleaded as the tears formed in my dark golden eyes let them self fall freely.
"Dusk. I don't care what they say. I'm gonna hang with you. You're my best friend." I plead as I try to control myself. I hear no response
"Don't please. I don't want to lose you"
"I'm sorry Elizabeth. I really am. You can live without me. I know you can. You know it too." I shake my head in denial as she speaks every word
"No. Please Dusk don't. If you do then I don't know what I'll do.
Please, please don't I'm begging you through tears." I quickly respond to her. Fighting to keep my voice from cracking, and as I fight back my own tears from blurring my vision.

Once again I hear no response.
"Dusk please I'm begging you. Please, please Dusk say something. Please!" I practically scream through tears.
"What does it matter? Who will miss me besides you?" she response in a flat voice. "Your friends, your boyfriend, Celeste, Kelly." I quickly list for her as I get up from my bed, to lock my door,
"Right 'cause Celeste is mad at me, sure a few of my friends will but other then that who?"
"Please Dusk I'm begging you, please don't do it. If you kill yourself then I don't know what I'll do-If you kill yourself me and Blaze will kill ourselves too-You know that too."
"Is that a threat?"
"No it's a promise." I tell her in a firm voice as I reach under my mattress pulling out a sliver steel knife, throwing it on my bed.
"If you do it. Which You will not! I will be there to make sure you don't." she tells me in a strict voice. I sniffle.
"Don't cry my dear, It will be alright, in the end. I'll be going somewhere that will maybe be happy. Maybe. See my dearest, It's all right my dear,
Remember: I love you, and tell blaze I love him too. Make sure they know they did, what drove me too this, please." I ease my crying to hear her voice breaking.
"…Dusk…"
"Goodbye my dear I will see you soon." Before I can even say a word I hear a horrible slash, followed by a heavy thud."
"NO! DUSK!" I scream through the phone, but I hear no response.
"NO! NO!" I scream as my hot tears rush down my cheeks. I hear a knock on my door.
"ANSWER ME!!" I sob into the phone.

Then the depressing realization hits me. 'She did it.'
I look at my knife as a great deal of sadness engulfs me. Stabbing me in the heart like a million shards of broken glass.
I pick up the knife with no hesitation and slash my left wrist deeply. I yell out as the pain courses through me, but also washes away the great grief as my blood pours from my cut. I collapse on the wooden floori as the lightheadedness suddenly hits me from the pool of blood gathering beneath me.
"Good bye Dusk...."
