this shot is absolutely fantastic, i really like the sense of movement from the kid's hands and the b&w analog feel. i think that the depth of field here is just great, i would have to see the shot with a different dof to say otherwise. very nice

but disagree on the dof - it should have been shallower in order to isolate the kid... but im takin care of that next time.

well in that case you are right, if your intension was to isolate the kid, then a shallower dof would have been prefered. in my opinion the shot is still very good, just make sure you set the right aperture next time

hm, ich muss gestehen, dass ich hcb, doisneau und konsorten eigentlich relativ spΓ€t entdeckt - wahrscheinlich sogar erst nach dem foto. ich seh mir ihre aufnahmen wahnsinnig gern an, aber ich versuch sie nicht krampfhaft nachzuahmen. denk ich mal.
