Description I feel bad for anyone who draws this guy because DAMN, he's got a lot of detail. x'D I probably won't commission any art of him for this reason.

Anyhow, this is my Aggron FC, Sauren.

Backstory:

Sauren was a product of pokemon daycare breeding. Unfortunately the guy who picked up his egg and hatched him was a total douche and abandoned him for having a gentle nature. The guy parked his bike by the side of the road, dumped little aron Sauren off on the side, then peddled away. As you can imagine, that was a particularly detrimental part of Sauren's youth, and he has held a grudge against humans ever since.

Where he was abandoned happened to be route 9 of Unova, just east of the West Unova river. Luckily arons don't have any natural predators, as is the case with most rock and steel types. He has lived there ever since in the particularly mountainous terrain. It's a relatively peaceful place with plentiful resources and a landscape completely untouched by humans. However, there was always ONE little downside...

... THE NEIGHBORS.

Sauren, being a gentle-natured pokemon, has always been conscientious about the state of the local ecosystem and all the flora and fauna in it. He personally took on the responsibility of ensuring the pokemon living alongside him in his territory were kept safe from harm. Sauren went from aron to lairon, lairon to aggron almost exclusively defending his territory from the pawniard pack on the other side of the river. The pawniards had an insatiable desire for the territory across the river, as its plentiful supply of woods, caves, and prey (thanks to Sauren's care) were extremely preferable for them. However, they also had a nasty tendency not to respect the surrounding environment, with their large numbers severely putting dents into other local pokemon populations. With the help of the 30 children he has had since becoming an aggron (anyone who's seen the anime knows arons and lairons live in huge family groups lol) and his ability to use flamethrower, Sauren usually made short work of the pawniards and their lead bisharps over the years, but that all changed one day when he was faced with the most cruel and powerful bisharp he would ever encounter.

The bisharp's name was Sarrow, and he as a vicious as a bisharp could get. He was ferocious, evil, selfish, and never showed mercy to anyone. Under Sarrow's command the pawniard pack virtually doubled in size and strength, eventually topping off at 40 pawniards in all. One night Sarrow led a surprise attack against Sauren and his kids at their own mountain, causing mass mayhem and nearly killing both Sauren and his offspring. The locals woods were shredded in the attack, and many of the local pokemon lost their homes. The battle ended, however, when Sauren unleashed what trainers would call a "critical hit" and flamethrowered Sarrow and his pawniards, forcing them to retreat back to their side of the river. Twenty pawniards (and not a single aron or lairon) died that night, and Sarrow has never forgiven Sauren since. In the aftermath of the attack, Sarrow decided to rebuild his pawniard populations before seeking revenge.

Sauren knew that as long as Sarrow was still alive, he was going to seek revenge on Sauren and his offspring (as well as spread his seed each mating season and produce more pawniards, god forbid lol). Because of this, Sauren had to be extremely wary and make sure that the low points of the river (the only portions where the pawniards would cross due to being small-sized) were constantly kept under the watch of his children and pokemon who were willing to alert him in case Sarrow and his pack tried to cross. Hostility towards pawniards in all significantly increased after the massive attack, which is why it is extreme irony what happened thereafter.

Roughly five years after the battle, one of Sauren's youngest children (named Binky lmao) found a strange pokemon washed up on the shore of the river, clearly drowned. He dragged the body up the mountain to show to Sauren. One look at the pokemon and Sauren knew immediately that it was a juvenile male pawniard. When lifting it off the ground, however, the pawniard regained consciousness and coughed up the water in its lungs. When he saw that it was still alive, Sauren had the immediate intentions to kill it as soon as possible. But he was stopped when the pawniard started crying and begged him not to return him to the other side of the river. Confused, Sauren and his kids inquired as to what happened to the pawniard. It turns out that, as Sauren suspected, the pawniard was one of Sarrow's new offspring. However, due to reasons unexplained at the time, Sarrow decided to abandon one of his own children and threw the little pawniard into the river, knowing his son couldn't swim. Miraculously he survived, and with some negotiation, Sauren decided to take in the little pawniard, named Shar, as one of his own, permitted that Shar follow all the policies of Sauren's territory and learn at least one ground/rock type move (Shar learned Dig).

... and Shar grew up to be what Sauren always considered the biggest pain in the ass of all his kids.

The addition of Shar to Sauren's family was strictly kept under lock and key to make sure Sarrow never found out. Eventually, when Shar turned 15, he left Sauren's territory to make his own way into the world. But Sauren knew the nature of pawniards; if Shar was to evolve, he would almost certainly return to the Unova river and challenge Sarrow in a fight to the death.

Made on MS Paint, as usual.

xDDD He's an old man, that's for sure. But he's plenty lively. Plus he trains his children so they can defend themselves, especially since Sarrow is a real snake who would definitely pick them off it he got the chance. FUUU

Oh my god yes he did. x'D

The bisharp has first pick for mates, and he/she also picks which pawniards are allowed to breed that year. The higher you are in the pack hierarchy, the more likely you are to be chosen.

Also, Shar has 8 siblings and a 5 half-siblings. :'D They're not all the same age, though.
