He has this air of a very wise experienced fighter just like his master Gouken. I wonder who will be the lucky dude to inherit his fighting skills.

I think Ryu would still look good with gray hair. He'll age nicely. Maybe if he becomes a teacher, he'll sport a long gray beard as well!

excellent art n concept. by this stage in his character lifespan i would love for ryu to become the ultimate king of street fighters! that would b sweet.thats were i see him going.

Don't wonna pop your bubble but SF4 will be placed right after SF2 Turbo and before SF3 New Generation so Ryu won't be so mature like in the art but still I like it.Nice job

you did very well on a fav ol street fighter character whom I use in SF games^^.
I guess the expression you give him sort of gives him that in depth faith of what he is still and will be searching for.
"The fight is all" I remember that still in my memories^^. I guess when you come to look at ryu now at days he still is the same honorable Japanese wanderer he still is.
and he considers a trophy not a prize but looking for that ultimate fighter to battle with.
