My non Wof Dragon species called Broothians from my (need to be edited) story 'Legends of altamare'
No these are not based on Nightwings or are they an open Species

Name: Broothian
Average lifespan: 190-200 years
Diet: Carnivorous, large deer, horses, cattle and sheep, carrion are common as well
height: average of 20 feet

Biology:

Description: Broothians walk on all fours. There are 5 talons on both front feet and 4 talons on their back. The most distinguished features on Broothians are the large frills that start from the start of the spine that reaches just pass the shoulder blades, some frills reach the start of the tail as well. It is rare for Broothians to be born with two frills going down their neck. Frills are known to be any color and are used for intimidation and some believe they aid Broothians during flight. Broothian scales are typically black or dark grey in coloration. Albinos have existed but they are usually shunned.

-Females are slightly larger than males

-females usually lay up to 3-5 eggs at a time and are capable of having more children in the next 7 years. (There is no breeding season)

-The average lifespan of Broothians is 190-200 years but they can live much longer if a one doesn't die from disease, natural causes or is slain.

-Broothian blood is read

-Broothians have lithe and slender bodies and they move very fast in flight and they are silent.

-Broothians have night vision and keen hearing

-they are capable of swimming (need to be taught)

-Broothian fire is blue

Food and diet: Broothians are highly carnivorous and their diet mostly consists of deer, horses, cattle and sheep. Unfortunately this brings them into conflict with humans who try to raise livestock but are constantly having to ward off Broothians from eating their animals. And Broothians don't understand the concept of humans owning certain animals for food and clothing. Broothians are the vultures of the dragon world, they are able to eat carrion since they are immune to most diseases, some have even trained vultures such as Condors and Bearded vultures to find food for them. Broothians make tea out of plants that are extrememly toxic to other species' and is often used for medicinal purposes. Broothians also have a favourite desert or sugary treat which consists of cashews, almonds, sunflower and pumpkin seeds all mixed together with honey.

Culture
-High respect for their elders, especially those that live 200 years or older. Treating an elder with disrespect is a very punishable offense and the offender is usually publicly humiliated.

-Broothians have a king and queen.

-Broothians are known for their ancient magic and knowledge of the past which many still read. Scholars, Keepers and scribes are constantly wanted for writing down history and passing on oral history to the next generation. Its very common to see libraries and places of solitude being filled with Broothians who are reading. Legends are told to hatchlings at a young age so that they can learn from them and tell their future children those stories.

-Broothian society is highly organized, and the species is also known for strict discipline and work ethic.

-Names are extremely important to Broothians. In the past some Broothians shared similar names with humans, but when they left Earth and centuries past they forgot about the humans and the old Broothian names. Nowadays Broothians are named after different plants and herbs or even after birds and rocks. Last names are given to those who have accomplished something great and therefore should be recognized by all. only the current king or queen can give a last name to another Broothian which it becomes a title. Once a Broothian has been given the last name or 'Title' they have rights to own land provided by the king as well as treasure and he can choose five dragons to serve him, he is also allowed to have his or her family live on their new land, and he is still allowed to have a mate and children who will all have the same last name (Think of Game of thrones houses) Those with last names serve as a member of the royal council and are called 'Lord'

-There are 9 main families called the 9 lords who have proven to be the most trustworthy and loyal to the royal family and should the entire royal family die with no heirs to the throne. The 1st family will take its place and become the next royal family. The remaining 8 lords will move up. There must always be 9 lords so they search for someone worthy to take the 9th space.

-Broothians brew tea using certain poisonous plants that are harmless to them but deadly to others. The use teas to help them relax and sleep.

Economy:
Broothians value obsidian, Onyx, marble and moonstones over gold and other rare, bright and colorful gemstones and gold. Onyx and moonstone are often made into jewelry and obsidian is often used to make weapon. Broothians mainly use marble for architecture. Broothians value all of these and trade meat, pelts, and scrolls for them.

Religion
Broothians have many gods, however the most known and worshipped is a giant Broothian called Ammon. He is considered the dragon god of knowledge and fate. Its believed that Ammon lives in a realm surrounded my endless hallways of books and scrolls all about every dragon that was ever born and their stories written on paper, many have actually tried to find a way to enter this realm but it has only ended in them going blind, plaguing them with misfortune or outright killing them. It is also believed that Ammon has two gatekeepers that kill any trespassers, they are called Faust and Caleb.

-Myths are legends are very common among Broothians especially when it comes the moon and the stars.
- Magic is not very rare but not very common either. Though many Broothians throughout history had powers no one knows anything about where they came from or why. And to make matters more confusing any Broothians can be born with unusual powers and when a dragon has reached over 200 years of age they end up unlocking a new and unusual power.

-Seers: some are able to see into the future, past or present, very rarely can they see all three

-Soul jumpers: Able to transfer their soul into another creature or dragon. However their actual body could go into a coma and die if they leave for too long, and can get trapped in the current body they're possessing.

-Past watcher: A very rare power, able to see into the memories of another dragons ancestor from centuries ago.

-Dream walkers: able to travel through dreams and deliver messages.

-Snakes eyes: Can kill anyone by making eye contact, it cannot be controlled (its a rare curse)

-Memory manipulation: being able to alter anyone's memory

Broothians are rather discriminatory towards albinos and view them as useless because of their near white coloured scales that wont help them hunt during the night. Other Broothians usually shun them and sometimes the parents of an albino will abandon them to die.

Weaknesses: Broothians aren't completely invincible when it comes to disease and poison for plants such as rosary peas, and doll's eyes. Broothians can have medical problems much like humans, such as cancer, heart problems, etc. There was an unusual plague that swept through a Broothian temple which had killed almost all of the inhabitants except for one. A Broothian assassin named Vagnar Ravencraft.

-Broothians can be killed by giant crossbows such as the Scorpio. They can also be killed by other dragons.

-Out of all of the dragons species Broothians interact with humans the least and avoid them a majority of the time, and are the less likely to allow humans to ride them.

-Young Broothians usually those 12 or younger play a series of different games, such as marbles, tag, hide 'n go seek, play catch with a ball made out of animal hide. Vagnar told stories of when he was younger and at the end of every week the adults would light a bonfire at night and he and his friends would sit around and play games and tell stories or just talk about their lives, the most common thing they did was re-enact plays or stories their parents told.
