Flapper!Odd says no to kisses. I expect she's telling this to Andy, confusing one of his many attempts to murder her as a sexual advance. Oh those crazy kids! XDDidn't use any references, ['cause I was lazy,] so many apologies for historical inaccuracies. Also too lazy to do the text in Illustrator, so yeah, lower quality there, too.
C'mon, what do you expect of me at 6 in the blessed a.m.? XD^2

I really like how you've used that white and blue for the gloves and the little neck thing... they stand out yet fit in yet give it that illustrative flavor... what is that flavor?

I adore FSc and draw a lot of inspiration from her work, so I can see why it'd remind you of her style.
And I'm glad you like my coloring technique! It's not particularly complicated, [I rarely put in more that just core shadows,] so I try to bring in some interest by coloring the lines and fudging about with gradients. If you're interested, I could maybe put together a tutorial.

Quite a bit of sun, though less palm trees than Florida, natch. Still, there are indeed palms trees, and I live ten minutes from a beach to boot.
