So, I kept it simple. Since he's a pretty simple dude ;u;
and I LIED. But I promise Murdoc's coming up soon XD
I couldn't resist drawing russel.
Being a drummer, I think I appreciate him the most out of the entire band XD He really needs more lovin'.

I really dig the way you mixed in real life objects with the drawing of Russel. Definitely reminiscent of Gorillaz, but in your own way too. And of course I love the way you drew Russel.

Russel needs so much more love. I love all the other band members as well, but the way Russel is just kind of ignored by the fandom just irritates me. BEST CHARACTER MAN.
okay that aside, this is really nice. I love how the photographic parts of the picture blend in so nicely with the drawn part of it, just like how Jamie implements it in his pictures. Great work, I love it! <3

Right? He's basically the backbone of the group too. But something tells me his character wouldn't be as "into the fame" as someone like Murdoc...

my only constructive criticism is that maybe you could've gotten a more detailed pic of drumsticks. lol and possibly added the drum set from the Clint Eastwood video. X3

I totally agree. I was actually thinking about finding a better pair c: Ooh, that would be cool. But I have this plan to stick all the characters into one drawing and make one giant picture of AWESOMENESS So I have to keep the characters sizes small

d00d!! you should keep a separate copy of this with just Russel, but then have the ghost that possesses him playing multi-player Super Mario Bros. 3 VS mode against him on the screen. 
there is SERIOUS potential for this pic.^^ i'm looking forward to seeing the full-band version too! i bet it's so unfair to play against Noodle. T.T lol
