"Come on Toni, can't we play it just once?!"
"I told you before Paige," Toni says with a groan as he glances down to the pocket-watch in his gloved hand - mentally going over the schedule he had planned out for the upcoming day. "There's a time and place for mucking around, and this not the time nor place for it. Besides, the last time we played that game, it put my whole day off by two minutes and forty seconds. I can't live with that kind of set-back to my schedule again."
Paige puffs out her cheeks in a pout and crosses her arms in a childish manner before saying, "You live by that schedule of yours as if your life depended on it. You should seriously see a therapist for your OCD issues."
"Oh please," Toni begins with a scoff as he slips his pocket-watch back into his pocket. "The day I see a therapist for OCD problems is the day green becomes your favorite color."
Paige's gaze then softens slightly in understanding, partly because she knew she was never going to like or even associated herself with the horribly uncreative color known as green, and her ink arms unfold slightly. It was then apparent to her she was gonna get no where by begging, but she would not give up so easily. Dropping her hands to her sides, she quickly decided to switch her tactics.
"Fine...we'll do things the organized way you like today."
"Thank you." Toni says with a slightly victorious tone. "Now, later tonight, I was thinking we could-"
Before he could even finish his sentence, he suddenly felt the sharp point of Paige's pencil pressed to the side of his neck - effectively cutting him off.
"You didn't let me finish." Paige says as a insane smile curled onto her face as she walked around to be face to face with Toni - leaving a faint pencil line on his blue neck as she did. "We can do things the organized way you like today....if you beat me at our game. If not, I'm just going to jab this pencil into you all night until you sooner or later agree to play this with me. Your call."
Toni felt his lips curl into a smile before calmly replying, "You know, threats won't always work on me, Paige. One day, I'll be immune to them, and you'll no longer get me to play this with you."
"Sure, but they're working right now and I get my way, so I don't see a point."
"I suppose there is none." Toni says with a defeated yet slightly anticipating sigh. "So, shall we begin?"
"Whenever you think your ready."
