That's right I have no life.I always wanted to know what she looked like before she became a rotting corpse.
I'm probably way off though.And don't say she looks like Victoria! I just always pictured Emily as a brunette also.

Anyway...I love how intricate the dress is. I love that there are several layers, but that they all work just SO WELL together, and are just oh so very Victorian. 
Like I said, your color scheme is perfect, and that includes the backround; it matches her dress, her hair, and her skin so well, and make her really stand out.
I LOVE THIS. AND I LOVE YOUR SHADING. AND WHY ARE YOU SUCH A GOOD ARTIST. AND WHAT AMAZING EYELASHES! AND I need to shut up now.

The lips are the same, the eyes are the same, the body type is the same, even the hair is the same style!! THIS COULD SO BE EMILY WHEN SHE WAS ALIVE.
The style of the picture is very victorian, even though she's smiling. 
But aww she looks kinda perturbed or something!! But like she's trying to hide it, or pretend whatever's happening isn't happening. Or maybe she's just a little shy, and doesn't like people drawing her portrait. I dunno. But DAMMIT, the expressions you use are always just subtle enough that I can't quite tell what the characters are thinking. Just like real people! MARVELOUS!!
I really quite love the colors here; without your calm, somewhat plain color scheme, the picture wouldn't be the same AT ALL. Her blue clothes look just gorgeous with her pale skin and lips; very lovely.
And WHY DO YOU ALWAYS DRAW SUCH COOL CLOTHES. I always want them so much!! I would KILL for a dress like that, even though there wouldn't really be a good time to wear it except maybe Halloween or some costumed dance theme thing.

I dunno, I've always wondered what 'human' emily would look like. I think you did pretty well! And, I don't think I've ever noticed before, but you have a pretty Tim Burton-ish (that's his name, right...?) style! Big eyes, small necks, skinny arms xD O' course, you may have just drawn this like that because it's a fanart >< Eh, whatever. It rwaks!

I think there is a distinct difference between good charicaturingβ if you can call it thatβ and outstanding charicaturing, and of course this is in the little details ...
I LOVE the subtle multi-directional shadows you've cast on the background gradiant, and the slight rouging on her cheeks; there are so many subtle little details it's hard to single out just one ...
It's apparent you're adept at drawing what you see, not what you think you see, and are able to capture these little intricate details. It makes your pieces infinitely more interesting to look at because, like Mr. Burton, you humanize your creations and make them believably real.
Now then, could you draw ME, so that I can enter into Emily's world and flirt/woo her?
