You need to get rid of that wheel and get him a chin-safe wheel.

he's had that wheel for three years without problems, plus it's hard getting chinchilla toys in sweden

It doesn't matter how long you've had it. He can and wheel get an injury on that wheel. He shouldn't be walking or running on wire at all. It's cut up his feet. If you need a wheel, try contacting [link] and ask about shipping outside of the country. Their Chin-Spins are some of the finest wheels, and I just ordered on for my chin.

Dunno. I can try to find other websites for you where they sell outside of the U.S. , but Quality Cages is the only website I know and trust. I just bought a wheel and their Chinchilla Mansion. Haven't gotten them yet, but I've never heard a bad thing about them. I willt ry and find some other websites for you, though. Chin Safe wheels aren't easy to find.

the second cage on the page you showed me looks great but the problem is that its gonna cost alot to ship something that big over here.

You can build a cage for a lot cheaper. Get pine wood. Thick, pine wood. If you go to chins-n-quills.com and do a search for "home made chinchilla cages" you can see how some people made their own cages. There's a lot of really nice ones.

Oh no, NOT THE WHEEL!!!
We used to have mice, one of them loved running in the wheel but it was making annoying noises so we've put it out of the cage. That mouse actually managed to get from the cage just to run in the wheel again...
...now every time I see that wheel I remember my obsessed mouse...>>;;;
