Cyber-sassin AR-511-221 frowned. Why could she not retrieve any data on her biological systems? She merely wanted to ensure that her organic components were functioning as optimally as her synthetic components. A ghost of something similar to fear flashed through her mind. Perhaps her organic parts were shutting down!

No, that did not make sense.
She was having no difficulty breathing, nor did she feel any discomfort. She paused in mid-flight, and gave her limbs an experimental flex. Everything sounded normal. The mechagenic solution in her torso and legs was running at the correct temperature too. So far so good.
She focused on her arms. With but a thought, she willed the metal in her forearms to liquify and re-solidify. They did so without fault. She wiggled her fingers and noted that they seemed normal. She could find no malfunctions that could impair her function.
Most likely a fault in her diagnostic software. Mildly frustrating, but not life-threatening. She sent a maintenance request to base.

Moment later, she received confirmation of a maintenance appointment scheduled for the next morning, but more importantly, she received orders.
Her face became blank and impassive. All thoughts of her organic components vanished. Her targets had been located.
"Unit AR-511-221 acknowledges" she declared, her forearms already liquifying and forming blades, "Target: Tails will be eliminated. Target: Tekno will be captured for conversion"

Can Amy be saved? Will she succeed in her mission to eliminate Tails and capture Tekno? Who did this to her?
