Name: Aokami, Blue Wolf
Origin: United States
Race: Japanese/Native American, tribe unknown.

This'd be Aokami, or Blue Wolf as she was called when living with her parents. They died due to a mysterious attack, her mother (a former Indian medicine woman) giving her only a strange cross pendant made from a rowan tree's branch, a foreign stone carved into an archaic symbol. Aokami was 13 at the time.
When it touched her, she was looking down at herself, and wearing strange clothing. Facing her was a large spirit being, something she had never seen before. It was a hollow.
She found in her hands an intricate bladed scythe and without sustaining many wounds she dispatched the creature, only to find that a man in black robes had appeared, asking who she was and what she was doing.
Aokami learned fast from the man, a quick five minute lesson, reiatsu, shinigami, and zanpakuto, these became familiar words to her, and once she returned to her body she finally realized that her parents were gone, killed by a then unseen force.
The man left her be, thinking nothing of the incident. Aokami passed undisturbed by the Soul Society and its members until she turned 16, at which point she moved to live with her grandparents on her father's side... in Karakura.

And that is how I would introduce her... sort of. It explains some things, but without many spoilers. Basically her tribe had been known for shamanic powers and could call on ghosts and spirits to aid them in fighting. These were usually hollow and an occasional arrancar would get sucked into it.

She has to face her inner hollow at some point and in conquering it gains that power to add to her strength.

Her reiatsu is not extremely high or low, and she prefers to be alone at times. Hence her strange nickname at school of "lone wolf"

Other than that.. I can't really think of much else to say except I have time to get the next chapter or so of my story up tomorrow.

I hate the size of this, but it was sort of fun to draw...

They're a fscking pain in my a** . That's why I tweaked hers to look like it does...

There's a spirit ribbon flying around her that's blue, because she's different from most other shinigami, and definitely from Ichigo... Oh jeeze...

Anyway, I've wanted to put her out ever since I learned about the Vizard, in a way she's a tweaked form of one of them, she'd probably join the pack if she thought she'd be welcome...
