You did find a nice piece to use, well spotted. The colour choice is also well made too, though perhaps a little more thought on lighting would help even more. You did well all the same.

F*ckin awesome colring job man! Works fine, i think dinos look alot like that! A background would help this image very much, otherwise, great comination of talent here! Especially like how you got the claws and chest part together with the blends!

Yeah man good work adding color to it definately brought forth alot of though small little details... makes me want to do some more solid pencil drawings... Its been awhile Ive been so busy painting... umm experiment with some cool colors in there... for instance.. you could color in the shadow a nice cool blue... and the reflect that on his under belly as a dull blue... ... maybe even think about making his top scales a bit more saturated in color, and lighten in areas... as if to suggest that light is hitting stronger on his head... opposed to his thigh..

good stuff though man..
