The piece is loosely based on a Magic card [link] This was my favourite art during my Magic playing years
Thought it would be nice to do a creature with a background for a change. About 20+ hours work

This one is slightly better than your zoanoids - also as great - and the size is amazing.
If you work at something like this next time make sure that the lines are round and the anatomy is ok if you start with your pixels. A left or right defined light source would also be a good idea

Thanks for the feedback. I still kinda suck at anatomy. With this piece I imagined a normal light coming from the top (so neither left nor right) and a bright yellowish light from the bottom, although I think the lighting could've been better.
