As you can see by my comments,quite a history in my boyhood and the photograph made me appreciate it more,having moved away.Autumn on my place [link] where I live now in NJ.

I have been advised time and again to add color. I posted it as scanned from a film picture taken with a Canon AE1. I had another from a different angle and because of so much advise I adjusted [link]
Maybe too much color. The Birch predominates and turns gold,I tried to show it.
The ravine below here turns Golden,I only have it in memory,But this fall I will capture it.I live 100 miles from there and only go on special occasions Showing that Golden Ravine is one,I will.

I saw the second, retouched, shot. I must admit that I prefer the non-retouched version. You're right - maybe too much color in the second but just a little Just lower the saturation and contrast a but and it'll be perfect! Anyway, nice capture!

That ones really nice too, I do prefer the other one tho, the colours are alot softer, but they're both great shots!

I received so many comments to add color to Autumn. I like it totally unadjusted.
So,I had another angle shot of the Dam. I brought out the gold of the Birch's,although
their color had not fully peaked at that time.

Really? See i thought the original was amazing, the colours were vivid, but not too much. The other ones good also, just i like the natural-ness of the 1st one!
