And yet another elven princess, though both her looks and her personality differ greatly from my other one, Lucretia.
Adastreia was kept in the dark about her true origins during her entire childhood, because their parents feared she would endanger her brother the crown prince's position later. So she was raised by high-ranking nobles, knew her brother only as a playmate and only ever heard the truth shortly before she sent away to a neighboring region and married to a warlord. So she spent many years (more than 150, to be precise) in a foreign country, married to a man she never loved and sometimes outright despised, while her homeland, Anastra, was one day just wiped from the map due to a accident caused by magical experiments gone wrong.
However, life started looking a lot less depressing when her husband finally died and she could finally leave, and even moreso when she learned that her brother had survived the downfall of Anastra.

Adastreia is a true lady - she takes great care of her appearance, appears mostly calm and dignified, loathes violence and has a taste for the fine arts. She is also kind and caring towards people she feels responsible for (especially her little sister substitute, Keya) and has a great sense of duty.
This, however, doesn't keep her from being extremely proud, stubborn and impatient, especially with people of lower status or with manners she considers unsatisfactory.
(Or with men. Boy, does she dislike men! Most of them, anyway.)

I tried to make this one look a bit more sketchy than most of what I did recently.
Lineart can look quite pretty, but it is always very time-consuming and I often get the feeling that the picture looked better with rough lines ...
Anyway, I like how Adastreia turned out.
I think I've finally gotten the hang of coloring white hair and I really like her clothes.
Which is funny, because pink in all shades and hues was once my number one hated color. Why? Well, because I thought it was girly and that girliness sucked.
By now I've become older and wiser, have learned that color alone does not have a meaning, that girliness can sometimes be awesome and that light, rosy colors are actually quite pretty.
