As to the image, I find the upper left corner to be slightly distracting ... you could crop that out. Another approach would be to create a half circle mask that faded out the the sides, top, and upper corners ... a visual representation of "Walk Into the Light"

I like the subject and the composition fine. I would like it better if it were darker and perhaps with slightly increased saturation. But know that your photo is appreciated.
