I find a neutral grey background generally makes most colors pop and easier to see. Some of the detail may even be lost by the contrast of the white. At my school the computers in the design lab had grey backgrounds intentionally because it's easier on the eyes too.

Aaah, after seeing this, I decided to download Alto's Adventure, and I'm in love with it too! My favorite is the Zen Mode; I could play that forever haha.

Ich steh voll auf so "simple Grafik" wenn du weißt wie ich das meine. 
Ich liebe es im Zen Modus zu spielen. Meinstens schau ich nur auf den Hintergrund wie die Sonne untergeht xD
