What do you use for your Black chalk? I've got some good blacks but I'm running low and am looking for a good replacement.

Sorry, I'm really late replying to this, however I know the brand of chalk zimshadow26913 used in this - it's Francheville soft artist pastels. I know I'm a year late, but maybe that will come in handy in the future.

Better late than never, lol. Thanks, on my next run to the art shoppe I'll look for those. Many thanks for the advice, I just recently ran out of black and it's impossible to find a really good one in standard sidewalk chalk. It's the one color I have to go out of my way to get and I'm always on the lookout for just the right texture.

Actually, I don't know the brand. My art teacher supplied the chalk, and I didn't check D: But I think any high quality artists' chalk would work well.

No, it was dry. My art teacher supplied the chalk, that's why it's so high-quality.
