I've had this image on the boil so to speak for a while now. One of those images that you never seem to be able to finish. Well, I got strangely inspired tonight and thought 'why the fuck haven't I finished this! It rocks!'I've used pretty much every technique on this, vector, abstract and freehand painting. It's pretty hectic in there in the middle and the plumes of smoke and billowing clouds were the bit I added last and really made all the difference to finishing it for me.
Red and black. Can't beat it

Personally I think there should B more value in the red. Just a few points where it gets really bright. I like covering things like that front 2 back thats all.

I don't usually comment (even less fav) this kind of work, as I can't usually relate to it that much... But I was struck by it when I saw it as a fav in another person's gallery. It's like I can really feel the "rage" and its complexity through it.. I don't know, can't really explain it through words. And yes, red and black are always a killer combination. lol

Incredible - the amount of detail is amazing. I love the forboding feeling of this...the red and black; it feels very much like an apocolytpic scene, or something from a universe of frightening industry and technology.
