I know this is a sexist thing to say, but it seems to me that it's hard for men to do cute β by which I mean the adorable with sex appeal cute rather than the sexy women who is cute. We always seem to have that moment of weakness when we toss in something, even if it's ever so tiny, that is a bit randy. There's a great book called Love and Death in the American NovelΒ that talks about this: its author, Leslie Fiedler, argues that the leitmotif running through American art is that our women need to either be virgins or whores but never betwixt the two, and by "virgin" I don't mean a girl or woman who has not known a man but a woman, old or young, who is incapable of being seen in a sexual manner whatsoever. But, here, you do a great job of creating a woman who is cute but not sexualized, even though she is (very) physically attractive β but not sensual, per se β in a way that is neither chaste nor innocent. It's, imo, a tough throw to hit on the dartboard, but this is definitely a double bull. Well done.

First off, thank you for the compliment. Β This is a thought provoking comment so I've been thinking about how to reply. Β I believe the genre I prefer to work in (whatever you want to call it, I don't really have a specific name for it) lends itself to capturing beauty in the form you're describing. Β At least that's how I feel, and to know I can occasionally hit the mark and it be recognized, I again say thank you.
