I've watching through half of this drama
but it seems the good side never had a chance to beat up the evil side
it makes me a little tired though

I hate to say this but the good side not beating up the evil side gets a little better and then worse as it goes on. But the final five-ish episodes should be pretty satisfying (and heartbreaking ) at the same time.
