My reimagining of the demon, Maldor the Malevolent from The 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo.Maldor was archdemon who tormented the people of Medieval England with his mastery of black magic and legion of ghouls. Maldor heard word of a rebellion rising up to send him back to hell with the last magic wand in existence.Β He launched an assault onΒ the rebellion's stronghold til he made his way to the inner sanctum and killed the rebel leader. With no one in his way, Maldor finally got his hands on the wand, but it was a trap. The wand burst into light and burned containment runes into Maldor's skin, turning it pitch black. With the Rebel Leader's last bit of life he revealed a Chest of Demons and opened it, forcing Maldor into the infinite void of the mystical prison. Maldor would be stuck in the Chest of Demons for 1500 years until the Chest was opened by some meddling kids and their dog.

You know this Maldor reminds me of Venger from the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon due to their appearances are similar while the original Maldor plus Venger weβre both voiced by Peter Cullen.Β

The hair makes it look like he has a point noise, and the lines on the scarf are very reminiscent of a mouth. Iβm not judging just explaining the confusion.

They mimicked Shaggy's voice perfectly and made it seem like he was stuck in the Chest and Scooby opened it.

Yeah, that'll do it. Is there like some kind of special lock on it; if I had a chest that held some of the most dangerous monsters around, I'd make sure the lock was something that couldn't be broken so easily.

Well, I'd think that Bogel and Weird would of spent years getting the lock off and the remaining problem they had was that ghosts cannot open the Chest of Demons.

While 13 Ghosts may not be my cup of tea, I love what you did with Maldor. He looks so creepy and awesome. Plus, he was voiced by Optimus Prime himself, Peter Cullen! That is fucking awesome!!
