Description How many roads must a man walk down
Before you call him a man?
Yes, 'n' how many seas must a white dove sail
Before she sleeps in the sand?
Yes, 'n' how many times must the cannon balls fly
Before they're forever banned?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind,
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

How many years can a mountain exist
Before it's washed to the sea?
Yes, 'n' how many years can some people exist
Before they're allowed to be free?
Yes, 'n' how many times can a man turn his head,
Pretending he just doesn't see?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind,
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

How many times must a man look up
Before he can see the sky?
Yes, 'n' how many ears must one man have
Before he can hear people cry?
Yes, 'n' how many deaths will it take till he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind,
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

Bob Dylan's revolutionary song became one of the most popular anti-war songs during the 1960s and the Vietnam War and was resurrected during the Iraq war protests as well.

sophistokla said "..At "The Answer, my friend.." I like the reference to the song of Bob Dylan. I think, the theme is pretty well implemented. The lightning is simply gorgeous and what I really like is the arrangement of the fans and especially of their cables it might be coincidence, but that's cool! Unfortunately, the picture is pretty diffuse.. that's a bit disruptive, however imparts allurement
In conclusion: Nice work .."

the lighting is amazing, great contrast, but unfortunately it's VERY blurry. it's hard to avoid blurring in lowlight ,try reducing ISO. if you can't do much with the camera you have, don't worry about it, just try to keep the camera still and later on invest in a better camera, an SLR.

A tripod always would be helpful. You don't necessarily have to have a $600+ dollar camera to get decent pictures. A good picture is definitely mostly skill

... is blowing in the wind.
The shadow play in this piece is exquisite, if this were to hang in a gallery I'd bet lots of people would stand still a few moments longer than with other pieces because of it.
Especially the cables at the bottom of the fans and the 'cages' around their blades make the shadow/light contrast very beautiful.
Slightly out of focus this shot, but that's okay, it creates a nostalgic/old and dusty feeling.
It looks almost unreal and fantasylike, while this shot merely pictures dust, old objects and a confined room like an attic or basement.

Oh, I can't say I'm great at making critique, but mostly it's the fans facing opposite directions, and the way that contrasts with the title... like the answer can be different directions, or even more than one direction.

i like surrealistic mood of picture, because for me these fans look like three person blowing answers to each other in quiet conversation, i like atmosphere that bw add to this also.

Ok..... as you requested. I love the content in this piece and you've handled the contrast and light well. The only thing I might suggest would be to have a little more going on in the right side of the piece. The fans create an implied line to the left, which is fine, but it seems the majority of the objects in the room are on the left. Therefore, this implied line creates a definite weight that falls to the left. In order to balance that out, you could find interesting objects to be placed on the right so your eye can move around the image, or you can find away to break that implied line. Other than that, it is really beautiful and the area in which you were working is very interesting. I like how dirty it feels.

thank you so much for your critique.
It is good for me to know this, because I take photos from a purely aesthetic sense, and it is never a planned composition, it is always shot on a creative impulse. I will fine tune it next time... thank you.

You should visit India btw . Great photo-ops!

that little light space at the bottom right is somehow attractive...donno why..sorta looks like those 3 "fans" are looking out to the light or some such..kinda spooky actually ..its like they are turning in slow mo..i sound trippy.. ...i donno they dont look like objects..seem realistic..like people..left abandoned and umm...you are sorry you asked arent you
