This was an awesome tutorial, I had to reconfigure it for myself as a microsft paint user with pixel art- but the tutorial applies over perfectly. Do you have one for dome-shaped roofs? And please publish your other tutorials! Hopefully I'll be able to figure it out. I'm from Romania.

Having done a bit of pixel art before, I was wondering where the hell you were going with this until I saw the final images and was rather blown away. XD
Nice job.

So when you're coloring your work, do you find yourself locking the transparency a lot? Or sometimes do you ever run gradients over pixels with locked transparencies? [knowing the gradients wouldn't show smooth, but when zoomed out the colors may blend better] - hope that makes sense -

Getting the three-dimentional geometry right in iso scenes is always the hardest part. Excellent tutorial.

zi- In reply to ctrl-alt-delete [2008-11-06 21:45:48 +0000 UTC]

Yep, but many peoples think that must use only correct pixel lines. That is why many times works look at very similar, maybe because more ISO tuts are how to make regular pixel lines or because is easy to make regular pixel lines.

Thanks ctrl-alt-delete I'm glad that you are OK
