Oh wow, now if the show would have ended something like this, I would have totally respected the creators more. Even though I do support Makorra, I would have preferred and loved to see Korra come to grips with who she was as the Avatar and bringing justice and balance to the world, focusing on her powers and her destiny, not romance or a poorly written love triangle. I would have loved to see her enter the Spirit World alone or even with Mako, Asami, and the other main characters as a show of friendship and togetherness. It didn't need that ending that caused such division in the fandom. Thank you for showing that in this, if that was your intention. If not, this is still an amazing pic.

I'm really glad for you have seen such a deep thought in my pic. I partially agree with your mind, but i love korrasami's ending too.
"ATLA was a story about a normal person learning to become the Chosen One. TLOK was a story about the Chosen One learning to become a normal person." bengalsix Korra focusing on her powers and her destiny all show. So i'm glad to see Korra enter the Spirit World with Asami, because now she can just relax and fun with her best friend or girlfriend. She can rest of the world's problems and enjoying life.
P.s. And thank you for your compliment!

Yes, you probably do have a point. I kind of understand where you're coming from. I respect the ending, really, even though I wouldn't say I LOOVE it. I will always support Makorra, but as I said before, I truly thought it could have been a more emotional, closing scene for Korra to either have been alone or with the other friends going to the Spirit World. You know, to tell you the truth, I actually stopped watch the show by the middle of Book II. To me, it lost it's appeal, it's meaning when the storyline and the art quality started going down hill. I've only read the summaries of the episodes once in a while, and like others are saying, the "romance" in the show was so poorly written. While I love Korra and Mako, even I wouldn't have had that much of a problem with "Korrasami" if it would have been handled better, given time to grow. I see them more of a close, sisterly bond, a deep connection that could even rival romance. But the ending...it was just too much of a slap in the face and caused so much arrogance, "rub in the face" and bad blood in the fandom, not the characters themselves. If they wanted to created a gay character, that's fine, that's their decision. They could have introduced one in the show or created a show featuring a main gay character and helped a gay relationship grow, and people would have decided if they wanted to watch it or not. But this...it just didn't feel right. But then, I'm just saying what lots of others are. I'm actually glad things are settling down and the Makorra fans are coming out of hiding to keep their relationship alive, and I'm glad some Korrasami fans are being more civil. In the end, I'm just glad to see amazing artwork like this to show talent, and you're very, very talented. I was glad to see it.
