I love all of your OC's I like the costumes on Mary, Zoe and Granvil. The have some pretty intresting weapons too, Yates has Claws and Mary has a Yo-yo. ^3^ Very cool.
Zebec looks cool too I like the runes.

And Zoe has a quill ^^" She draws stuff to summon them and uses the quill like a knife. Ugh i'm so annoyed with her becuase i made her before Okami came out but becuase of the whole celestial brush thing i had to dumb down poor Zoe =[

Ah! I almost forgot what a quill was for a seccond. 
And she uses it as knife too. o-o It's pretty verstile. I tend to go for transformations and special abilities, most of the weapons in my stories are generic and they're not multi-purpose.
That happens to me too. But, Zoe using a Quill as a weapon... it would'nt get you into any trouble. She's got a unique costume too and even tho she summons spirits with her Quill don't make them look like the Okami beasts.
Also, the stabbing part. Does she physically stab her enimies? Or is it like Okami where you paint the slash mark.
In that case, if she paints the slash mark then you might have to change it. <:[
I hate it when that happens and then I have to re-vamp. T^T

Generic weapons are probably for the best. Mine probably seem too gimicky but i wanted to be a little versitle *haha fail*. With regular weapons at least your characters would get taken more seriously than mine XD
She originally painted the slash mark, yeah =[ I actually was inspired by a cartoon called 'Penny Crayon' but yeah, then Okami happened and i had to scrath that aspect of Zoe. It awful having to dump parts of your character for such reasons *sobsob* orz

what size brush do you use as like, your outline? not the big black outline but the general outline for small features and details and a general shape?

Regular 3px brush on a large canvas. They look really sharp when you resize them by 50%
