You could call it something like "love at first sight". That day Lettuce spotted a new storefront in Wynsiph and stopped to have a look. Her eye was immediately caught by a soft-coloured tiny creature affectionately holding a flower and taking in its scent. She hadn't seen runeboos before, as she later learned they were called. Curious, she stayed to have a closer look at them all. She stayed so long and fidgeted so much, Kalypso, the store owner, had no choice but to inquire to the potential customer about her intentions.

"Oh, no, I won't be buying one," Lettuce said.

Kalypso let her be and, after a few more minutes, Letty moved on with her day. However, whenever she was in Wynsiph or saw some small creature or another wyngro accompanied by a runeboo, she felt an inclination to check up on the "flower smeller" from before. That's how she became a frequent visitor of the Pet Emporium.

There were a few more times when Kalypso asked if Lettuce had decided on purchasing a runeboo for herself but every time Lettuce vehemently rejected the idea. Partly, this annoyed the shopkeep, but another part was amused by the wyngro's insistent denial even though her growing attachment to the sweet peach-shelled runeboo was plain to see. Secretly, Kalypso didn't let anyone who offered to buy that runeboo.

Finally, the fateful day had arrived. Like usual, Lettuce was sat by the enclosure and watching her favourite runeboo. She usually sat pretty far from the edge and that day was no different. The runeboo though, came closer. It sat by the edge and stared at Letty curiously. She was slightly taken aback by this, but she scooted on closer. She placed her clawed hand close to the creature's face. It had a whiff of it for a while, then cooed sweetly.

"Are you buying it yet?" Kalypso smirked.
