Chubby? Pah! She doesn't look chubby to me at all. I absolutely love the clothing folds.. I've got to try Painter someday. Yesyes. The background sparklie dots are a nice addition, and the dead little bronze stars hanging is cute too. The little wings are gorgeous and her expression is full of innocent simplicity. The earing (I think?) string-piece-things are very sharp as well. Very intricate piece with a great composition; nice work, Oni. :3

If nobody else will be a critic, I will I took your picture and opened it in Windows Picture viewer, and flipped it upside down. They say thats a good way to see if anything is out of proportion. Honestly, the proportion isn't wrong at all. I think one thing that might have made it look funny is the fact that you can't see the tilt of her body under the dress with her legs up as they are. Unless you look at the feet, they face the same way as her body. I then compared it to some other pictures of similar poses that I have in a book of anime and character designs. The only thing I can think of, would be the curve of her shoulders to back. But then, these books say to over-exagerate feminine curves, too, and that's not very realistic. So really, it depends on what you intended it to look like, and whether that is what it looked like when it was done. I would say it looks perfect to me. Hope that helped (I don't have a lot of room to critique, my art is... blah)
